New member. (Houston Area)

I figured I would introduce myself as I am a very new member to these forums. My name is Patrick, most my friends just call me Pat. I have recently been scrolling through these forums, reading reviews on clubs and looking for used equipment to save myself a dollar or two. So far looking through this site I have seen some great information here and I feel that I will learn a lot as I become a more involved member in the community.

 

A few things about myself are I have been golfing for about 5 years or so with a few years break in between that. I am not the best golfer but I do enjoy the game, for the most part. Hahah. My scores range anywhere from mid 80s to mid 90s, self taught. Since I've recently gained a lot of interest in the sport again I believe I will be taking some lessons here in the near future. (Any recommendations for the Houston area would be great)

 

Well besides hoping to become a more involved member in the forums from learning to maybe helping others I believe that's all I have to say for right now. I'm on my phone so when I do get to my desktop I hope that I will be able to fully update my profile.

Monty what is the date on that event? I'll have to check my work schedule.

I just met with a great guy last night from the forums (Johnny Hack) and purchased a new club from him. He was telling me about a local event some people are putting together at Tour 18. Anyone have information on this as well?
