Hibore xl tour

Just tryed it out! Thought I would share my thoughts

I just hit the Hibore xl tour 9.5 with the red stock shaft! I loved it!
I currently use a Nike sq tour 8.5 diamana 73x and I get on really well with it but I would happily change now i have tried the Xl tour!
I would love to try it on the launch monitor and see what numbers i am getting!
It looks so much nicer at address than the ordinal hibore! it is 3 deg open which didn’t look that open to me! It is a beautiful colour and looks reasonably compact compared to other 460cc drivers! the standard Xl looked a little closed to ma and the head is longer at address if you know what i mean?
The sound was alot louder than the previous hibore which i liked but some people might not like that! I would defiantly recommend you to try this club as i think it is quality!
I will try it again with some different shaft and spec combinations and then im sure i will get one!

Thanks for your post. The XL tour 9.5 I presume launches much higher than the 8.5 SQ tour? Spin?

Yeah it went higher than my Nike but i guess the loft and shaft had alot to do with that! I actually think it had less spin though i am tempted when i get one to go up to the 9.5deg and i will proberly stick with my shaft from ny sasquatch as i like it alot!

Thanks for the advice i appreciate it! I got fitted with this shaft though and i really like it so i was proberly going to put that into the xl tour head. I will see anyways! You might want to listen to your own words as well mate if you have had that many clubs! Good luck anyways u will stick with the Hibore for a while im sure it is hard to not like in my opinion :drinks:

I've hopefully got a tour spec XL in the works.. only other drivers I want to try are the FT-5 and Titleist D4

Littlepingman you sound a lot like me. I've tried and/or purchased just about everything out there except...the FT-3, Hibores. I've been comtemplating purchasing the Hibore XL/FT-3 or waiting for the FT-5. Reading your post, I assume you prefer your G5 to the FT-3...have you had a chance to try your Hibore XL? If so how do you like it compared to the other two? Thanks

I kind of like the more compact shape of the Hibore XL Tour. Do you think it would be possilbe to bend so its square at address and not 3 degrees open? Or is that not possible?

Save yourself a lot of grief. Find a head you like at address and the feel at impact. (hopefully it's got current technology). Then have Joe Kwok custom fit the shaft for you. This will save you Months of frustration!!!

Trouble is I live in Canada and Joe Kwok isn't exactly a stones throw away.

I got to try it out as well. Wow. I owned the original one, but this is MUCH better and it flies farther than the old one...even though it's cold out, it still sent them out there before crashing to earth in 25 degree weather.
