Callaway Razr fit open/closed settings

I just have a quick question concerning Callaway's Razr fit settings. How many degrees does the open and closed settings open/close the face. And how much loft/effective loft does this add/subtract. I have a Razr fit 9.5 With Whitboard 73x. I have always used the driver in the Square setting but recently tinkered with the closed setting and have gotten better results. More height and more carry on my tee shots. Curious as to increase in loft.

I think open is 2* total (-1.5*effective loft?) and closed Is 1* total (+.75* effective loft)

I prefer the closed setting too, much easier to deliver en power through. It also sits better behind the ball.

I have the exact setup (shaft and driver head). Leave mine open all day. Keeps the ball down and I never have to worry about it going too far left.

Thanks for the replies and insight. I really like this driver other than my low ball flight. I hit plenty of fairways and do hit it plenty far. I guess it's just the utter tinkerer in myself that makes my try to do better. I am certainly going to keep this setup ( have played with a few Titleist 910d3 and various shafts but nothing has beaten this ) but may look to add a shaft. Anyone have any success with Accra shafts at all. The more I read, the more they interest me. Thanks again!!!!

I have the razr fit originally with stock shaft in s didn't like it and traded out for a ust axivcore tour green s and its made a world of difference. However I'm a high ball spin player so the ust has really flattened that out as well as knocked the spin off without unloading my wallet either, and its a good feeling shaft as well. The whiteboard in x that you are using is already a low flight spin shaft (you must a pretty hefty ss numbers certainly higher than mine). Anyway if you want to bring the flight up and don't want to empty the wallet you may have a look at the axivcore black and/or blue series.

There's a chart on here somewhere, search back it should pop up. Shows the standard adapter settings and the TA adapter as well...

Edit here are the DC adapter, the retail one will be the settings without a + or -, so 1.6* closed, square, and 2* open

I decided to contact callaway about the settings and here is what they came back to me with.

"[color="#000000"]In response to your inquiry, a Razr Fit driver set to open has a 2.5 degree open face angle, and one set to closed has a 1.5 degree closed face angle"[/color]

The other list goes up to 2.7 though, so I guess it is possible. Don't forget manufacturing tolerances will likely lessen the actual amount.

As for face angle & loft, it is very slightly less than a 1:1 relationship, so typically everyone just goes 1:1 for simplicity's sake.
