Club Byron custom stamp

the 007 stamp...

This is the artwork that Byron Golf Design is creating a stamp from, and is to be used on the 007. :drinks:

I like it. If I were to change it, I think I'd have the wave part (after the C piece) form the B. Under that, I'd have a W and an M maybe overlapping (similar to the William and Mary W and M), for Welsh made.

 

And that dear friends would cover it all and NOT be a copy of anything.

Club Byron's intent for the logo is a blend of Byron's past Welshman made crests and his California history. The wave reflects the California surf culture and asethetic that he came up in while the crest brings in the Welshman iconic emblem he currently uses. If you look at the stamp as a whole it is a crest... just very modern with a splash of surfer in it.

 

 

...I can't imagine Cameron riding a surf board... ever.

Looks Great to me :drinks::) The only thing I would question is what size it is going to be and where it is going to be stamped. Is it going to be a sole stamp or a cavity stamp?

007 sounds too much like 009 and i know the story how it is for 2007 and 009 is a copy of 029 but come on we all know perception is reality and if people perceive it as an 009 copy then you have to address that perceived realiey. honestly i think 07 or 2007 would sound better. how about a name like BD07 for byron design 2007. honestly i think it sounds better and differentiates byron from cameron. jmo and i would use one but not if it was named 007 just sounds like a copy. if you want an example of classic stampings check out the old heritage golf threads

I definately think it should be small enough to fit on the heel leaving options for placement open. I think it would look incredible on the heel just right of the vertical CLUB BYRON stamps as seen on the first proto pic.

 

As far as naming the new putter how about CB7 ?

I still like the 007, maybe because it is in my screen name also. Who gives a rip if some think he is copying Scottys 009, because there are alot of differences. One being it doesnt cost 2300 smacks to get one and the awesome face milling sets it apart. Whatever it is called I want one

I think you did a great job on the logo. I personally would like to see the wave integrated to the sheild. And if the putter name is changed to CB7, you could even integrate it like this. Maybe stamps are to expensive to change year to year however.
