Anyone played Wolf Creek lately?

Going to Vegas later this week and would like to get an early morning round in somewhere. Just wanting to see if anyone has played WC lately and what the conditions are like. I know it's been REALLY hot there lately. It would be 1.5 hour drive from the house we're staying in so I don't want to make that drive if the conditions aren't up to par.

Played this morning and it was fantastic.

Piece of advice, get the earliest tee time...even if you have to get up really early. Not only it is it hot, but with all the water on the course it was pretty humid too.

They are draining some of the ponds/lakes so that was the only downside.

But I have no idea when they aerate: Oasis Palmer was closed for aeration, Conestoga was out a week, Oasis Canyons was out 2+ weeks.

Thanks for the advice. How was the pace of play? I've heard that's usually pretty long but didn't know if that was the case in July.

4:20 pace for us and that was playing the tips and taking photos....

Any update on recent course condition?

I played WC about 10 days ago (Friday, 3/21). Course was in fantastic shape but the newly seeded greens were running a bit slow because they are letting them take root. The entire course is in excellent shape though. Have fun!
