Suggestions for Bandon Caddy?

We have a group of 8 guys going to Bandon for 4 days over Labor Day and we are looking for caddy suggestions. I've done some research via google and the forum, but am hoping for a few suggestions here.

 

Who have you enjoyed as a caddy? Looking for someone with good stories, friendly, and will help us play well. 0-10 hcps.

[/quote] Gus Albers was my caddie for 4 days. He was absolutely terrific. Two other caddies in my group were a young fellow named Ryan and a female caddy Chris. All were teriffic!

Kieran -- played mini-tour circuit in Ireland. Friendly without being a chatterbox; good reads -- he was actually the caddie for other players in my pairing, and I found him preferable to the caddie I had (who was also a good guy).

Faith was my caddy and did a great job. Pleasant to talk to and read the greens without fault.

another +1 for Faith. Also ask for Danny Clayton. He played college golf and Trained at the New Zealand acadamy and is very personable.

Been there since the beginning. Knows the courses inside out.

Figures your game out quick...pulls clubs and tells you the target.

Most importantly, can REALLY read greens. He will definitely save you strokes. My buddy broke 80 for the first time there on our first of 7 rounds there a couple months back. Must have made 8 putts over 10 ft which he would never had made.

I found he cared more about how we were playing the we did ourselves.

Joey. My brother and I had him on our trip. We are both low indexes and had him for all rounds. My brother is easily a club longer than me with a much higher ball flight and he was pulling clubs with confidence for both of us by the 3rd hole of the trip. I dont even remember asking for yardages because he would just hand me the club and say to normal/soft/hard shot. He hustles and it was a birdie-fest for my brother and I out there. He was great on and around the greens.

+1 this guy is awesome. David Hill is also excellent and those guys work really well together.

Back in the day John the Baptist was a great looper. He was gone for a while but have heard that he is back now. Story was he had some "issues". I don't know anything about that, all I know is he could really help you work your way around the course AND read greens.

For those of you who haven't been to Bandon before, you need to play a ground game, especially when the wind picks up. There are some shots that if you don't keep them on the ground, you will end up in a very bad place. A good caddy not only helps you read the greens but helps you navigate the course with recommendations on shots that you probably would not consider if it weren't for the caddy.

Another good caddy that was gone that hear is back is Crazy.
