Golf in Punta Cana - Dominican Republic. Last minute??

Hi everyone,

 

Departing for Punta Cana in a few days and I have decided to bring my clubs along. This being essentially an afterthought, I have no tee times, and really no good idea as to where I should play.

 

I will be staying at the Majestic which apparently gives me one round to play. Where else should I play, I don't necessarily feel like paying big $$ (unless its absolutely worth it) ?

 

How about tee-times, I read somewhere that they are booked months in advance, is there a way to get last minute tee-times (like golf now or something like that)??

I was in Punta Cana in May. You are in their off season so you should get better deals. Cap Cana and La Cana are the best courses by far but you will pay for it. I stayed at Iberostar Grand and they had an onsite PB Dye course. It was much better than expected and the back nine was great. It was in perfect condition and from the tips a solid but fun challenge. Yannick Groer was the GM and took care of my tee times by email.
