Birthday Golf Houston

So my birthday is coming up on the 2nd. Planning on hitting the course(s) like never before. I have looked around for birthday deals for courses I normally don't play and came up with a few. Figured I would post them up here for anybody interested in doing the same.

 

Here's the list I've come up with so far(will update as I find more);

Bayou GC, Texas City - Free cart fee

Moody Gardens, Galveston - Free Greens Fee

Timber Creek, Friendswood - Free Greens Fee

Windrose - Free Greens Fee

Quail Valley - Free Greens Fee

Green Caye(Par3), Dickinson - Free Greens Fee

Bay Forest, La Porte - Free Greens Fee (M-Th)

Evergreen Point, Baytown - Free Greens Fee

Battleground GC, Deer Park - Free Greens Fee

Beacon Lakes, League City - Free Cart Fee

High Meadow Ranch - Free Green Fee (Actual BDay)

 

I have scheduled off Monday-Thursday as to allow for maximum golfing potential. I want to try and play at least 126 holes in this timespan (7 rounds). If anybody in the area is interested in joining, I will post my schedule by the end of the weekend.

Add High Meadow Ranch to your list. The only restriction they have is that you have to play on your actual birthday, with that said, your birthday being on the holiday they may let you move it. Another thing to consider, most of them say you can play "a week before or after" your actual birthday.

Stephen F Austin used to have a birthday deal as did Houston National.

Updates for your list:
If I remember correctly, Bay Forest's birthday round is M-Th only. Beacon Lakes has free cart for a paid round.
I think Memorial Park used to have a birthday special also, but I've never tried it.

I wasn't aware that Green Caye, Moody Gardens, and Battleground had free birthday rounds. How did you find out that they do birthday specials? Was there something on their websites about it?

I'm lucky/unlucky enough to have a late June birthday, so it's torturous to use the free rounds. Good luck playing that many rounds in the heat!!! Post your good/bad experiences with the birthday rounds. I got shot down at Texas City, even with a printed coupon (it was from a website they no longer used, but hadn't shut down). I've always had good experiences at my annual birthday must-play, Timber Creek. A couple times I just walked up without a tee time and they fit me in quickly for my free round. Any other courses I get to play during birthday week I consider a bonus .

HMR is on my bday round...look forward to it every year!

I played battleground and lucked out system was down so I didn't have to pay cart fee. It was between battleground and quail valley but went with battleground since quail valley wanted to charge a cart fee for my dad who doesn't play golf.

Looking to play quail valley this Thursday as it is a week after birthday.

Have gotten in rounds at Bay Forest, Battleground, Evergreen, Moody Gardens, Timber Creek, and Quail Valley so far in the past week. Plan on getting in quite a few holes tomorrow at San Jacinto and playing some night golf at Green Caye. Been a great birthday week so far.

How was Bay Forest?  Never played it.  Looks legitimately rated from the blues at 6,814 yards (73.5/137).

Bay Forest typically stays in pretty good shape. Area around the bunkers is iffy as are the bunkers themselves. But nothing that would keep anyone from playing there.
