JDM putter, what do you use?

gold factory is out of my league... i want a nice good precision stuff and not too expensive.. i like blade putter.

what do you guys played right now?? share some review and feedback

I have a Golds Factory. If you want it cheaper, take a look at Yamada. Very high quality and reasonable priced.

I'm interest in the Miura blade putter. I've always played a heel shafted blade with a little bit of offset. Have never seen a Miura blade in person and that's kind of a must before I drop the money to purchase one.

i am currently using a miura km-005 blade putter and i love it. great feel and good feedback on mishits. i am, however, thinking of trading this thing out for a yamada since everyone talks it up so much. if i can find a yamada for a reasonable price, the miura is going on the classifieds.

i gamed a yamada and it was the best feeling putter until i tried the epon zen. then when i tried the miura km-350 i was shocked that it felt as good as the zen at a third the price. i'll never give up my zen because it's just pure art as much as it is a great putter. i need to sell the miura because it's a serious shame that it doesn't get any play! it's the best blade type of putter for the money imho!

I'm got a Miura KM006 that floats in an out of the rotation. Excellent putter. Very good balance, nice solid feel and pairs well with my favored Nippon NS Pro putter shaft.

My only two complaints are that it's a bit long heel to toe for my preference and you have to be careful to keep it dry. Since it's so wet here, I battle rust with the putter constantly.

Miura KM-350 is the best feeling putter I've ever used. Better than my Yamada and Byron. It is the best experience I've ever had for lagging putts. I do find it a bit hard to align on shorter putts though

I have both the Epon Zen (for home course) and the Yamada (for travel). Really like them both and very different looks.

i just got new info that Miura is not very well known in their own country japan...epon yamada hiro matsumoto gold factory sasaya george spirits is more popular JDM putter in Japan.. Miura is more famous in the US, probably because of kj choi.. imo

Sorry but that is just not true. In fact there is a whole different Miura line for Japan than America

Well... like you (I think)... I do not live in Japan but have a lot of golfer friends who do and I believe your friend is off.. Ask him if he's heard of Miura Giken and how far back it goes even before Miura became popular in the US....My first set was MG 5001 (I think that was the model) straight neck which was the predecessor to the Tournament and Baby Blades so popular in the US and ordered direct from MG more than 10 years back... but no.. I dont' live in Japan.

i know they are miura giken and miura.. japan made and us line.. but that is not the case. its popularity and well know thing in japan. anyway that is just opinion from a person who actually live in tokyo area.. and i don't live in japan either so i don't actually know hows the market there.. now back to putter topic

I personally was not impressed by my Yamada Emperor, and sold it very fast. Now I play a Slighter Tacoma, and have a Gauge Design backup. Still have not found anything to pull the Slighter out of the bag

anyway whats the point finding balance point like this on putter , if you make a putter from a raw steel and cnc to the design we wanted, than it should be another step to find the balance point using a weight balancer like this method, will this improve the feel?

 

putter like machine won't find balance point since they just plug another steel at the back of the putter just adding weight not concerning a balance point, does this thing important?

I haven't tried any of the other Miura putters. The reason I chose the 006 is b/c of the heavier weight, paired with a Nippon putter shaft, and got a great deal on it. The feel is very soft and the ball holds its line very well.

Hiro G, just to make your day, I use Hiro Matsumoto MG8. I like it so much I bought two many years ago. The head and putter is a nice and heavy 550g at 33.5". Have gone to sc del mar and David Whitlam but have since return to HM after I had it refinished at HM factory in Japan.

have to agree with you! its at par with my golds modified putter!
i just have to change the grip to a SS and il be good to go
