Callaway FT-2?

dont know if anyone else has heard on an FT-2 but i know i sure havn't.

They are real but quite rare! Never hit one but have seen one and seems to be alot like the ft-3. My guess is that its an early prototype of the ft-3.

wow, no idea callaway ever made them, though a prototype of the FT-3 sounds resonable. 420CC according to the ad. Hope someone on here gets it!

yeh it's real. just a smaller prototype of the FT-3. crown doesn't look like a normal FT-3 in those pics though.

Correct , they are just a smaller version of the FT-3 , almost no difference in performance or feel, i had one before i got my FT-3.

The on ebay right now is kind of overpriced imo, I have seen a couple go for under $300, one for $230.

Its all about supply and demand though

They did not have the appeal on Tour that the FT-3 did, great driver but did not catch on like the FT-3.

One of the Dicks here in town has a bunch of those in new condition for sale i think around the $150 range. My first reaction was WTF? Never seen one before that night.

Yep, my local Dicks has about 6 of them for $199. I ask the guy what they were because I had never seen them and he had no idea (not suprised). I'm thinking they can't be that rare if they are at Dicks.

+1 the Dicks on Peachtree St in the ATL has them for 179.99 with Fuji 360 shafts - took alot for me to walk out without one!

Tour only and there were like 3 versions of it made, I got 2 of them when they were released on tour and sold them to Golfmonster for like 1400 each, he then turned them on ebay for 1800 and 2000 each lol

It was an early development model of what became the FT-3. Very similar, and using the design attributes of the aerlier Fusion drivers, but a bit smaller in head size.

 

Not tremendously rare, but not all that common either since Callaway never officially sold them until recently.

This is why I'm confused at the hint that these things are the slightest bit rare...

They were never released to the general public in large quantities before. This club is several years old. Callaway probably found a large backstock at a warehouse and said what the heck, Dicks will take them.
