How do I tell if these are the real TM R7's

I bought a counterfeit set of callaways last year and I got my money back but I would like to know if any of you guys can tell if these are the real deal?

They look real, but he has not sold any golf clubs before... so you never know. But they look real

Have a look on ebay for a new set and compare the ferrules. I know that sounds strange but most fakes I've seen use the wrong ferrule for the make/model of iron they copied. I also can't remember seeing a full set of fake irons with steel shafts, I guess they're more expensive than the el-cheapo graphite that they use.

 

If these irons have a serial #, ask the seller for it then check with TM.

I just purchased a brand new set of r7 irons direct from TM myself. From looking at these, I can notice these points:

 

-The shafts are the correct make. The regular r7 irons use the TM Step steel shafts as stock while the TP's use DG shafts.

 

-The ferrules are the same as the stock ferrules

 

 

The only thing that has me only slightly doubting them is the shade of yellow in the clubhead. I'm holding one of my TM irons as I type, and the yellow they use is more orangey than the yellow shown in the pics. That being said, however, it could easily be his camera making the yellow appear more bland in the photos.

 

Also, these irons have no serial#'s, so you cannot use that to compare.

it doesnt look like it says inverted core technology on the emblem, theres alot of fake coming from china

These look fake...what wildwilly said. I compared pics from tgw.com and those look fake on ebay.
