Has anybody tried these wedges, look sweet! Like the looks so much I told Tatsuro at Tourspec I would take one, only problem is

I can't get him to send me a paypal invoice, can't order directly off the site because I want an upgraded shaft, its been about a week

of waiting and reminding him. Has anybody else had this experience, never had a problem when Tario was running the website business.

Tats isn't the guy you deal with when it comes to ordering. Email Tario. Tell him what
you're after.

regarding the wedges. Seems as most people either really like them or don't I sold mine after about
3 rounds. I didn't like them at all. My buddy thinks they're the best wedges on the planet and he ownes
every wedge (not really but dang near) ever made.

I use to deal with Tario all the time and got things very fast, what didn't you like about the wedges? I've been using the mizuno R12s for a couple years and like there versatility!

have 60, havent tried the other lofts as they are offset a bit and that doesnt look right to me. heavy head, probably on par with miura heavy. grind is kinda all arounder forgiving grind, the bounce is on high side but the sole is narrow so effective bounce is slightly less. shifted up cog works, it goes a tad lower but nothing drastic. plenty of spin. doesnt feel as good as miura which for me the best feel wedge out there. bold is kinda unique in feel on flops, there is nothing i have tried that feels that way. hard to explain, its like you feel much more compression on flop, alot more pop than anything else, sure put on a smile on my face hitting flops with it. experimented with it for some time and then went back to yururi tour. the main reason for me is its grind, if it wasnt for that i would probably have kept it in the bag.

Thanks, not an offset fan! Might have to look at the yururi tour.

What didn't u like about them? I noticed the stock shimada shafts are heavy and stiffer than say DG.

I did not find that to be the case, really like the stock shimada in it for little chips and pitches. not my fav for full shots though...stick came a bit short for me and I replaced w a recoil 110 proto that works real well...

Here are some real pics of the S-Yard Bolds. Comparison next to Miura 59c and 56k wedges. To me the heads feel heavier or denser than the Miuras. And I thought that already about the Miuras compared to Scratch 1018's. Feels "sticky" when hit, but maybe bc they're in almost new shape and I'm probably still getting a lot of bite on them.

way way over priced in my opinion..you can get the mizuno r 12 for under 100 bucks new..s yard is around 275 wedge..really ??
[/quote]

You can't really compare the price of these two wedges. One is a basic mass produced stamping while the other has labor, technology, and hand finishing behind it.

The high cog changes the feel considerably...to some for the better and others for the worse. I'm not an offset guy, but the offset on my 52 and 56 hasn't stopped me from enjoying those wedges. Very accurate and very predictable.

as usual, agree with mikey, I've been going back and forth btw the bolds & 213s in my gamer bag...it's a tough decision as I prefer the 213 on lofted shots 50/50 (carry / roll) above while I prefer the bold on shots I want to get running quicker. the higher cog really seems to benefit these shots...I used to use 9i on bump and run shots but the bold holds it's line like no other wedge I've played. lately I have been carrying a 50* bold and a 56* 213.

that high bounce 56* 213 is the best feeling s wedge I've owned...it's so easy to hit open faced lob shots I've take out my lob wedge and added an extra ute and that's really saying something b/c my pro preference 60* w roddio i10 was the longest tenured club in my bag....
