20XI *X tour issue?

Just found these at Budget Golf 19.95 a dozen. Anyone know anything about these?

Wow seems like a deal. I loved the One Tour D. If its that good I might have to try them. Only bad thing is I'll like them and then wont be able to get them anymore.

I'd actually started a thread about the same thing a few weeks ago. Stocked up on a bunch of the * and the 'space'. Finally got out this weekend and played the 20XI*X's. Distance was excellent, especially into the wind, and the performance around the green was great for me (hitting low 'checking' shots).

They still sound like a gunshot when you hit them which is mildly off-putting but with how it worked for me and at $20/dozen I can put up with it.

what is the difference between the 20XI*X and 20XI X - both being tour issue.

I believe someone had posted in another thread that the 'space' was essentially the prototype that became the 2013 X. The 20XI*X has the core and 'guts' of the X with the cover of the S.

I play the [color=#282828]20XI*X today and it seemed very long off the driver, but noticed a lower trajectory off the long and mid irons.[/color]

[color="#282828"]I played another round today with them, and just don't like them off of the putter. As with the retail version, they feel too "light" to me compared to the ProV1/X. I have to hit them harder and they don't seem to hold my line as well. I know the weight of a USGA ball is within a small window, but they didn't feel good to me. It was fun to try and I'll keep a couple in the bag for something different now and then.[/color]
