Adams brand recognition

Fade to Black

I hugely respect the inputs of industry guys in these forums. I think adds an enormous amout of cred that you cannot get in Marketing 101 classes. For example, I had years of debates with guys about role of endorsement contracts while their whole perspective was based on detergent "positioning" (the stuff used in college case studies). I could not relate industry realities to save the ship.

Now pardon us everyone. I need to add this because ... well, he was flirting.

After all, he does sell golf clubs for a living.....
[/quote]

Yes I sell golf clubs and gear for a living. I took over my dad's company 4 years ago. I've honestly, in 14 years of working in the industry, never been asked a question about resale. The questions are usually about sizing...flex, swing speed, gi, sgi, players blades, cast, forged etc...never once has a golfer asked me what the resale or trade in value. I won't even broach the subject because it might turn them off now that I know people actually think about it. My dad is the Pro at a golf course on the Monterey Peninsula. I know my stuff so stop trying to piss me off....it won't work lolll. Merry xmas to all and enjoy your golf....the greatest game on Earth. Peace

Micah, a question, being that you are in the industry. In an earlier post, you stated that resale values of high resale value clubs like titleist might differ from Adams by one cent. Later in another post, you said that the difference was actually 2 dollars. Now, I trust your data, since you are in the biz as they say, but what explains the two hundred fold increase in resale differences between your posts? Does this say anything about industry trends? Inquiring minds need to know.

Micah. Are you up to your 75 to post in the BST yet? Seriously. Settle down. You seem to ramble and make assumptions and accusations in every thread you participate in. If you have something productive to say. Go ahead. But I'm sick of hearing your fanboy attitude and rants on resale. [/end rant]

Geez, didn't know you were using sarcasm when you said you were in the golf business. I could tell you weren't anyway, your total lack of value of the resale value of the clubs made that clear.

Adams irons have HIGHER resale value than any club manufacturer in the world aside from Ping....and even that's only by pennies. Miuras have gawd awful resale value due to all of the customizations. The lady that started the entire resale issue needs to do some homework. I would say Callaways are the cheapest....especially the x line. You can get a shiny set of x18s for 50 bucks on ebay. Nikes the same...then I would lump Cleveland, TM and Cobra into the next. Wilson Staff, Ping, Titleist and Adams are at the top....don't ask me why but those are the FACTS....look it up. Now can we get off of this resale topic once and for all. First post FACTS lady instead of trying to start some iind of made up BS. You live in a fantasy world,...please STOP posting lies and incorrect, misleading information.....please. You really stepped in some dog s*** when you brought the whole resale issue up which, until I iust did research, never thought about....seriously. UNfreakenBelievable.

I took your advise and did the research. I used the PGA Value Guide that you reference in another post. Looking at forged players cavity backs from 2011-2012 because you mention the Adams CB3 in several of your posts. I have listed them from the highest PGA Value Guide to lowest. Everyone can draw their own conclusions about what is BS and what isn't.

Terribly sorry sirs. I forgot the top pic. You see that massive channel thing going on at the top of the head. I usually put a strip of lead tape on the top right on the edge. Just sort of my thing. Not sure how i'm gonna do it with that fat groove there. Still...arousing bulge on this baby ain't it?
