I've haven't fully committed anywhere yet. I've had offers from ASU, Mercer, Lander, Newberry, and Armstrong Atlantic. My top 2 right now are ASU and Armstrong Atlantic. Probably goin to sign in the Spring, once i decide.

    beachgrovejunior,

dude, it had to be majorly tipped, and then i had to go to the aldila's warehouse, where they make their custom shafts and they had to custom it for me.The only reason why i was able to do that was because my aunt use to go to school w/ the guy who works for aldila and he was able to hook me up. The regular flex w/ the x-stiff tip was what worked for me best. it allows me to hit 7 yd fades. and i can hit a good 15 yd draw. i just love it.

Based on the location of the other schools I'm going to have to assume he means Augusta State. Either way its a stellar program...

yup, i noticed that from another thread he wrote in saying augusta state talked to him, both ASU's have their merits, i love arizona and its courses, but im pretty sure augusta state gets to play augusta national and that would be unreal.

    beachgrovegolfer,

I've played lots of local tournaments around augusta and the coach came to watch me alot. I know lots of people around the area, since im a local player, and they passed on the good word about me to the coach.

The coach for ASU is a amazing golfer too. I've played with him in a couple of tournaments.

Because your handi means absolutely mothing to college coaches. I know kids (both on here and in my area) who are "+" handicaps, that average around 80 in college tournaments, sometimes higher. I'm scratch, occasionally trend down into the plus 1 ish range but I don't post that often. However, in tournaments I don't $hit the bed. I rarely post tournament rounds in the 60s, but I also don't really shoot above 75 either...

dude. ur totally right. im not scratch, but im a really golfer, with an extremely good short game. Coaches like me so much bc of my short game and accuracy. i just make things happen. I get the job done. Its all about the short game.

I doubt Clemson will offer you, there team is already filled up according to Coach Penley for this class.. but I'd go with ASU or USC.. send an e-mail to Puggy.

Maybe Clemson told you they were already full because they didn't have interest. Many coaches will say they are full when they really aren't just to cut ties with other juniors. Coaches can throw juniors for a spin.... good luck with either choice.

i know for a fact that clemson is full. Penley told me about a month ago at a fourball event that he was full and if a kid doesnt have the grades at the end of the year, he'll contact me right away.

negative.. i went to the CU golf camp and I was talking to Coach Penley and the players and he said they already had their class set

That's cool. I'm just saying don't call out someone about who is contacting them.... I know an 09 going to clemson so i know thier already picking up players down the road.
