I hate to start a thread about a new launch with a negative comment, but I can't be alone in thinking they look a bit of a mess. Also, a £320 rrp? Yikes.

I don't mind the look of them actually. What I'd really like to see is a photo of the Newport M2 from address. I'm assuming it's near face balanced.

I agree $410 is pretty nuts. Seems like not long ago they retailed at $300 and then $350 and the $379. I personally like the newport, it will get roasted by those who don't like sight lines. Interested to see how it feels, would love a long neck blade option.

Funny thing is that I've been waiting for a Newport with a line for years and now that it's come out I prefer face balanced.

I prefer the line as well, would be cool to have an option, I guess you do with the custom shop.

M1 Mallet looks great - I have always loved this style of alignment...

The M2 mallet is the squareback. Almost FB. There's a video on Cameron webpage that's shows them all

I don't understand why they won't make a mallet with a plumbers neck, or atleast give you the option to make a knucklehead out of it
