Machine Putter Experts - Quick Question

Good Evening Gang,

I have a couple of Machine putters with different necks and I was looking to swamp a couple of them around just to tinker. The problem I am having is that I cannot seem to get the necks out of the putter heads!!

I do some amateur club work so I am familiar with removing heads from iron shafts, adapters, etc. etc. and I have all the basic club-making tools including common sense! For some reason I cannot get these shafts to release from their respective heads (...and yes I have removed the screw from the bottom of putter).

I have tried some heat (gently and carefully) but still no luck...what the heck am I missing or does it take more heat and/or more effort that I thought to get the putter head off??

More heat (assuming you've removed the screw holding the neck in). They usually have epoxy in addition to the screw I believe.

Thanks to everyone for their help...

Just to follow up...the PDF was a huge help and I basically followed it closely and voila...shaft removed without a hitch. I just was not providing enough heat but once I saw the instructions I knew I could provide a bit more heat. Now...if it was as easy to the get the ball in the hole with fewer strokes of said putter I would have it made!!
