What are your thoughts on the UT over the standard 4 iron?

I've been liking it a lot. Still working a few kinks out, but overall it's killer from 215-235 yards.

The only thing ive noticed is that because of the hole for weight on the bottom it digs and doesn't have as good of bounce/turf interaction as I would expect from such a large sole.

solid looking bag, how are you liking the 816?

Ah man, I love the 816. I hit it more than the driver. It's so long. I hit it off the deck usually, awesome turf interaction. Flip the weights and you'll notice. Small. It kicked my RBZ Tour 3, which was a tall order. Just a pure spoon all around!!

Really tempted to buy one, but just bought a 913 and am having second thoughts

Nice Irons I am experimenting around with a set of 2013 X Forged which is basically the same irons as yours. I just can not swing the shaft you have the old pencil does not have as much lead in it as it used to have. I have a little tamer shafts in mine Rifle 5.5 PXI. But they are darn good irons

So many good choices in your bag.

Love your 17 fairway and putters. Great logic around the putter fang design for great MOI, yet not too bulky.

Your grips look built up with tape towards the club head. I use the Midsize GP MCC+ to get that affect now.

Play well.

I would definitely recommend it. Supposedly it's also the most forgiving fairway callaway has made, but it's as player oriented as anything out there. And it comes in alot of good loft options. I love the clean matte crown as well.

I like those '13 X Forged alot. Really nice clubs.

Thank you! The 17* has treated me very well from everywhere. I love the #7 design. It's super stable high MOI and solid at impact due to the thick top lines. I'd like to pick up a Metal-X Milled to add to the collection.

The grips are all Midsize grips. With 2 wraps. A bit larger but still tapered. I tried the MCC+4 for a while bit wasn't a huge fan in the end. I just like a larger grip, big hands.

Near full reload here, don't plan on switching much for a long time, took awhile to get to this but super happy now. Just looking to swap out my 54/60 wedge shafts and I'll only hopefully fiddle with grips for the next year or so.

Enjoy. Let me know what you think.

Big changes were made it looks like. Love the fli hi and wish they still made the MD2 wedge. An all time favorite.

Yeah I've been really happy with both, putting in the 3i forced my to redo my wedges. Found the 47 online brand new and opted for a 54 instead of a 52/56. Just love the MD Tour Grind, I agree an all time favorite for sure.

I little updated WITB.

Swapped into M3 440 9* (1 lower) from my '17 M1 9.5. Been a huge difference maker, such a better head for me.

Swapped back into Big Bertha Alpha 816 14* (-1/N). Best 3w ever for me. I have a Stenson type love for it. Just caved my face in on the second head I've had in this model and picked up a third off eBay.

'17 M1 5w head is caving now too, looking to replace ASAP. Considering M3 if anyone is selling.

Replaced wedges to Tour-Issue Taylor made EF Spin R-series heads. (47.09, 54.11, 60.07) with KBS 130X Wedge shafts in Black Nickel. These are fully carbon steel heads, without the insert face. Will post more pics soon.

Switched back to midsize grips in the Lamkin UTx Wrap in Blue. Love them.

Also added a Scotty Cameron Stainless Newport 2.5 into the putter rota. Been very happy with it. 340g reshafted to 35.5

Bag is very tight and don't really need anything to change, always on the lookout for a steal on some MB heads in the bay if anything glorious pops up.

Thank for looking, always down for comments.

How can you tell is a head is "caving in"? I always thought that once it went, it was gone and useless.

Nice bag - I had my eye on those wedges in the BST the other day too!

Well it's slightly concave. It happened recently, one more range sesh and I'm sure it would crack. I'll take a picture at home.

Wedges are pure. The only thing that happened, was I got a slightly different one off in the 54 will a skim milled face a rounded leading edge and a bit more offset. But the feel is top notch.
