Hit both at a demo day recently. I found that both were long but the AP3s felt and looked better.

That said, $1300 for cast clubs is absurd. Might as well get AP2s for the same price and bend them strong.

Honestly I’m not a fan of this particular category of clubs. Players Game Improvement cast clubs. I went in last Saturday to get fit for some AP2’s and hit the AP3’s while I was in there just for the hell of it. Obviously with the jacked lofts they were almost a full club longer than the AP2’s but the distance dispersion was off. I was striking the ball pretty well during the fitting and with the AP2 the distance gap between best and worst carry distance was about 3 yards. With the AP3 it was about 10 yards. I want a ton more consistency than the AP3 provided.

I hit only a few shots on the simulator at golf galaxy. Distance wise both were pretty identical. I was personally more consistent with the ap3 and liked the feel better. Not saying the rogue felt bad just slight better feel for ap3. To me topline looks better on ap3 but is also longer heel to toe while rogue pro looks more compact. Again this was just a small sample both with stock shafts. Cant go wrong with either or in my opinion. "Players" look with distance packed tech they are what is advertised. Honestly will probably just come down to preference...or budget being that there's a big price gap between the 2.

I hit both at demo day recently and much more preferred the feel of the AP3 over the Rogue Pro and X-Forged. I didn’t find the distance to be that much greater than my current 714 AP2’s.

I haven't tried the Rogue Pro. However, the AP3 ball speed was off that chart as was distance relative to the AP2 in my experience. AP2 flight was much too high for me with the S300 White shaft. The AP3 looks great and feels great on shots that are pured. However, anything outside the dime felt brutal to me even though distance was good.

Researched and demoed both extensively. And a few others. Ordered the ap3's about two hours ago. Never thought I would spend that much on a set of clubs, but they are what I want, so it is done and I can get on with my life. The custom order was a little more expensive than they would have been with stock shafts, but I'm pretty excited to have the clubs on the way.

I found both sets to be tops in distance and dispersion vs the others I tried. The clinchers for the ap3's are that they are best of all I tried in dispersion, except for the ap2's, but I was really on while testing the ap2's and I want clubs designed with more forgiveness in mind. Secondly, the subjective quality of feel. These clubs for me have more of a solid, no vibration, smooth feel to them. The real clincher for me on these clubs was the pitching wedge is deadly. It was kind of funny, for some reason while I was hitting balls with the pitching wedge, it was almost like I couldn't miss the targets I was aiming at. Anywhere from about 50 yards to about 125, when I aimed at something it went right at it. There was a green with a pin about 110 yards from where i was hitting, and i could adjust my distance to where it hit and stopped within a couple of feet of the pin, not once but a few consecutive times. Then I went to other targets and it was very similar, within one putt distance. I had good results on numerous sessions.

The Rogue Pro's are very good clubs. Much more reasonably priced and as good distance-wise as the ap3's. They are very forgiving in terms of distance loss on not well struck balls. The thing that dropped them to #2 for me was I was getting pretty substantial vibration on those mishits. I like the clubs though and almost bought them because of the better price.

One additional note, maybe not relevant to your situation, I found the Taylormade P790's to be excellent clubs also, but I had a hard time in keeping the ball flight down. They were harder to control for me.

I was hitting both of these last week and settled on a mixed set of AP2/3's. I found the Titleist to look much better to my eye especially the thinner top line on the clubs. I also liked how he Titleist felt once struck over the Callaways. That being said i was trying to be very picky as i wanted to make the right choice so the Callaway is still a nice club just not the one for me.

I jumped on the Rogue Pros without much thought and ended up moving on to Jpx 900 HM. The Rogue Pros looked great but were smaller than I needed. I wish Callaway offered a set with slightly less size and offset from the standard Rogue instead of the Rogue Pros (without the cost of epics) . There's a big jump between the two Rogue sets versus say the current Ping and Titleist lines irons. In other words, I was hoping the Rogue Pros would be comparable to Ap3/Ap1 or I200/G400 but they are more comparable to Ap2 or I blades, though more rounded and chrome obviously.
