Looking at both of the BB1 and the BB8 putters and trying to figure out something. Would the BB1 be the same or similar design to the Anser or Newport putters and would the BB8 be the same or similar design to the Anser 2 or Newport 2 putters? Also I had a Mizuno Bettinardi BC6 before so would it be like the BB1 or BB8 model? Just looking for some advice from some putter/Bettinardi experts.

Yes to your assumptions above and the BC6 is basically a BB1.

Went back and forth in BB8 vs BB1 and the BB8 seems longer (visually to me at least) heel to toe than the BB1. I have used anser 2 style heads all my life so I stuck with the BB8.

I went to Bettinardi and had a fitting and the look of the BB8 was better to me.
