flightscope mevo?

what is the current version for software and how do you input clubs and do they make a diifference . I have our pros to use for a while don't think he liked it

Have you had a chance to use the MEVO? Curious how it worked before I buy one.

I have the Mevo and for a long time also had a Flightscope 2. The FS2 was better, lol. But I did a test one day alternating between them and have to say they were very, very close on distance through the whole bag, like just a few yards difference when measuring averages over ten shots. Spin numbers were very different with much more variability coming from the Mevo, but after discarding the outliers on mevo, even that was much closer than I'd have guessed. For the purposes most of us would use them at the range, testing swing changes, realtive gapping etc, I think it's an excellent device, I love mine.

Yes it does miss a shot here and there, but if you set it up to the correct distance it works pretty well. I think distance is good, and the device was able to pick up really beat range balls with decent spin numbers without the stickers. Don't know if they were accurate, but distance was pretty good even with longer clubs like 3 wood and hybrid. Although it's kinda pointless to try to gauge distance with range balls, but you at least get a general idea. Also the video capture of your swing is also convenient, but their lack of lines and slow mo playback is not.

No

You need one of those inaccurate but fairly precise swing radar things. Those don't need balls if that's what you're looking for.
