Somone Is Closing My Golf Window

Days are getting shorter so my weekday golf is coming to an end very soon. I can only make it to one course now before darkness sets in. So Saturdays only will be it for months to come, bummer. Once it drops below 50* F, I'm done.

Daylight Saving Time starts Sunday, so week day golf is gone unless I sneak out for a round, hmmm! Maybe just in time for this senior to take a break for awhile.

thought you had an aftermath of a storm to keep you busy for months. This reminds me of the ad when the southerner goes to NYC, says hi and wants to tell everyone about his entire life

The whole community is still in shock over that storm. Clean up has not stopped and my insurance company has over 400 claims. I still have not seen my claims adjuster yet.

Got a tee time for Wednesday. I figure it may be awhile before we get to play again.

I got a round in last sat and it was cold, but the back nine warmed up beautifully. Can't complain about an 86 for me. Weekday golf is gone for the most part, as it is dark going to work and getting off. This coming Friday has potential!

No golf last week, really! I need my golf outlet.

Went golfing today and it was 37* F, cold. Once I started walking it got better, and only my head was cold, not good. I was using Callaway mitts with hot pockets. After 5 holes the hot pockets came out of the mitts, they were to warm. The only clubs I could hit well were the driver, putter, and 54* wedge! the rest were fat all day. I was really surprised how long the driver was, like the cold was a no factor. My score blew up with all the fat and toe hits, oh well. Sat is suppose to be really decent. The 54* Glide SS with a Recoil graphite shaft did great, as well as the driver!

A co-worker and myself got off early as it was 60*F. today, that's awesome stuff. It was a blast and I shot a 44 as well. Missed some ridiculously close putts inside 4 feet, arghhhh! My 54* Glide SS wedge was the miracle club that just kept performing, great stuff. When I get this wedge and my putter dialed in, scores are coming down.

I better stop complaining as it will be in the sixties next week, and I have mon and tue off. Looking at Grey Stone for sure!!

My golf window closed Sept. 26th around here. Could have played later, but it was so wet and cool, it wouldn't have been fun. Re-opened the window with a week in Palm Desert (Dec 1-7) and even though it wasn't very warm it felt good to play some golf. Even surprised myself and played really well. Then reality returned and I got off the plane to a breezy -15º and snow. Window seems to be closed until February 2020.
