Tour Edge CB3 vs XCG-3

Two completely different clubs.

CB3 is a low launching fade biased players club. Probably one of the least forgiving fairway woods on the market. Great for the good player who has absolutely no trouble getting the ball up in the air and doesn't play any kind of a weak cut.

XCG3 is a ultra forgiving, high launching, high spinning, high hcprs fairway wood.

I hope you're not trying to decide between the two!

I agree with Kyle. The Xcg is possibly a higher hc club, but none the less drops bombs. That club is amazing!

Just interested to hear those who have played both and get their opinions.

Have hit the CB1 and CB2 and couldn't get it off the ground. Have not hit the CB3, so wanted to hear from the Golfwrx folks if it was the same kind of monster.

I not better realize the differences, through your posts, and it's clear that I'm more the XCG golfer and not the CB golfer.

I have the Cb3 tour and it's a deeper faced bomber that works great off the deck and great off the tee. I threw a project X 7a3 shaft in mine playing at 43" and I can absolutely crush the ball with it. Low low spin. I would agree that it's for a fast SS player as some of my buds tried to hit it and couldn't get it off the ground.

If you can't hit the CB3 keep clear of the CB2. The CB3 is noticably easier to hit and a bit more forgiving. Personally i had no trouble with the CB3 hacking off 10. There are easier to hit, but there are very definately harder too.
