Fujikura Motore F3

What do you think?

Just bought one for my G15 10.5*. Anyone have any experience with this shaft or in the G15 head specifically?

I have the 60g stiff in my 910 D3 and it suits me perfectly. You will have to check it at the range and on the monitor to see the real results, but from what I understand it is a very high quality shaft (but then again most of them are, just suited to different SS, tempo etc)

I just picked up a 60g X. What are you stats with that set up? SS, ball speed, spin, LA, etc.

If you know them of course.

I got it a while ago so from memory (I don't really take too much notice), SS around 100-105, ball speed no idea, spin is a touch under 3000, around 2850 (this was one of the key reasons for getting this shaft for me), LA around 14.

I'm 178cm and the shaft is 44.5 because I find my consistency increased with this length.

Carry distance is around 265 ish on average I guess.

have a 90s and a 90x in an R9 3w and 5w, respectively. Both are tipped 1.5" so the 3w plays a little stiff to flex and the 5w is spot on, just like I was hoping. Very blueboard-ish. Mid launch/spin smooth and stable doesn't land too hot. A great everyman shaft.

I think this is a great shaft for the guy who needs a little more spin, awesome in a FW

Fujikura says not to tip for 3 wood, anyone abide by this or is it too weak without tipping? I am thinking of starting with atleast .5".

I just purchased one for my 3 wood. If the snow melts anytime soon here in Saskatchewan ill let you know how it feels.

I got fitted out by Cool Clubs in Scottsdale for my Driver, and Dallas for the rest of my bag. I was recommended the F3 70 with the RBZ Tour 3 Wood head. I got the combo late last year, and its epic. Really goes long, and its very consistent, with minimal dispersion. Remember that shaft fittings are all about making your bad shots better. That's what I learned after spending a few hours with a TrackMan.

Before just going out there and buying a shaft, you really ought to be fitted by the professionals. It's the only way to know for sure!

ckwL - if you find you like the shaft in your 3 wood, then you may have a similar swing profile to me. My driver shaft is a Fujikura Motore Speeder 6.2 X-Flex. Very good shaft! My driver swing speed was 107mph, 3 wood SS was 101mph.

I first played this shaft in my 910h hybrid (95hyb X) and I love the feel, strong but smooth. I just bought the 60 for my R1 and cant wait to game it. I am hoping its a poor man's Tour ADI

I just installed the Fijikura F3 60 X flex in my Cally Razr Edge Xtreme Driver 10.5,

length 46.25 D4 259cpm (shaft NOT tipped) , Neutral Spine (softest side of shaft) to Target (Head with some lower weights 4gm toe, 1gm heal)

This is a complete BOMBER! I am getting mid launch, climbing to a high apex but not ballooning, I am hitting half way up the rear net so its a big drive...I expect on the course it will bounce and roll a bit to 300+...to 320. This is 'very stable' , not whippy, good action and some nice blasts off the screws...wait till by buddy's jaw drop watching this ball flight...its "Nuclear"
No bad hooks, just baby draws & small pushes to right fairway...the only prob I see is blowing through fairways
Blows away my buddies 7.2 VC Tour Spec Stiff (a muted dead 2x4 that hits low)

Now I am getting the F3 70X for my Tour Edge Exotics 11.5 3 Wood to Blast off the deck!

I've been using a Di7X which is fantastic when I am on my game and full of confidence but not perfect when I am not at full operating power myself so I have ordered an F3 60g X flex today to arrive next week. I've tried the F1 before but didn't really like it, admittedly in a TM R9 head, which I don't seem to get on with either. I'm interested to see how it compares to the DI in my 913D3. I am working through a little swing change at the moment trying to get my AoA positive from slightly negative which is making it a little trickier to figure everything out to be honest too and affecting my consistency- driving was a real strength with my 909D3... I'm hoping that the F3 launches a little higher (for me) and plays a little softer but we will see.

whatever works eh? I don't care what label it has on, I care how many I write down at the end of the round on the card! Failing all this then I am booked into Tour X in Warrington, UK, early September to nail it down finally for me once and for all anyway!

Considering this is in a 910FD 3 wood head I've bought off eBay, it was a bargain so couldnt resist, anyone got thoughts on it in a 3W?

My alternative is to take an Aldila NVS in X flex and butt trim to make it 3 wood length, will play softer but closer to a Stiff so fine for me.

just FYI-
the adapters may be different size for the 3 wood if your trying to use a 910 driver shaft.

Guys, is this shaft similar to a Project X 6C12 or a 7C3? What do you think. I got this shaft in my driver, but I want to try the PX Tour Issue driver shaft as well. Opinions will be much appreciated.

Loaned my Rocketballz Tour 10.5 / F3 60x to the Pro at my course to try out for a while...its in his bag!...made me smile
