True Temper Tour Concept Shafts

I played them a few years ago, not a bad shaft. I still have the set of pulls sitting in my closet if I ever feel like going back to them. They are a constant weight set, so each shaft weighs the same for consistency and they are flighted.

Along the lines of what the above poster said, the Tour Concepts are pretty much the S-300's, just flighted.

I don't know how the satin finish is applied, but the original green finish chipped or flaked rather easily from light to moderate bag chatter. If I were to get another set, I would go with chrome as I have never had a problem with a chrome shaft. Others may be able to chime in on the durability of the satin where I don't have experience, but I would at least ask your club maker about it before making a final decision. Overall I liked the performance of the shaft, but was turned off by the durability of the green finish.

Chrome will be discontinued for 2012.

I had wedge shafts in satin along with some people I know. The finish in my mind did not hold up well on the satins. I like the chrome better. PLus You can scotch brite them to dull them if you prefer. Sucks the chromes won't be made anymore. Good thing I have a set of 5-PW

so the chrome is current as well as the satin? I can't find any info on tt site.

just pick up a set of TT monacos and you will be fine

I hit them! The tour concept and even the s300 felt better!

They were cool..I actually loved the C tapers personally.

didn't like them - they felt a bit harsh. I LOVE s300s. Seriously nothing feels better to me. Chris was awesome.
I just want some more info on the tour concepts.........

p.s. I broke 2 of his tips - I was Swing HARD today! hit a few 6 irons 215 carry but went outside and hard a hard time even making contact with the driver........

215 yards..wow! I hit my hybrid just a tad farther than that. You need to loan out some of that SS. Surprised your not in an X flex if you swing that hard.

I can't stand the feel of x100s and anything PX. He said the s300s were soft for me but I love the feel and I don't launch irons a mile in the air so I think I'm safe. now I have to fix my releasing too early issue.

TC are heavy, ultra-smooth, flighted (shorter clubs slightly lower flight). I found them to be about half a club shorter than PX - probably an OK tradoff for most, since the feel is really excellent. The satin finish is very durable, as is the chrome.

True Temper Tour Consept is available from PFC centers only, so the PFC home site is the right place for info.

Satin is simply "brushed chrome", so i offer this finish on any shaft, even Dynamic Gold if the player wants it.
