golf apps

Loads of golf apps out there but most far too complicated. Tiger Woods app is good but the best one i've downloaded onto my i phone is called : golf inside the scoring zone - well worth a look - available on apple app store and android at googleplay great tips simply explained and will improve anyones shortgame. Comes from a company called tengrandmentality.com which is also well worth checking out ! best thing about the app golf inside the scoring zone is the free downlaod where you can sample some tips before purchasing additional short game lesson packs. I find it boring practising without a purpose and with this app it keeps me focused and I know that what im working on is correct - its like having my own coach there with me on the practice area. I downloaded several packs and already have seen a marked improvement from within 100 yards. Takes a few minutes to download but is worth the wait.

What really funny is that you spell "practise" the same in all of the reviews you posted, which is the non-US spelling of the word.

Good pick up Larry. Suddenly 3 glowing reviews on the Android apps store day it goes from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 ?? Sad thing is it looks like there's been quite a bit of effort put into the associated 'tengrandmentality' website, what a pity.

Pro touters have become big business now, they're all over the place. Usually far less amateurish than this clown, however!

Well, I use [url="http://golfarena.com"]Golfarena.com[/url]. I like the social part of the service. It's nice to see and comment my friends scores. Also they have light weight mobile app that works on my old Android phone...

Being able to trash talk your buddies via a golf app sounds like the choice for me lol

Yes, this definetly one of the best things in Golfarena. It's always nice to send some "funny" messages to a friend playing. Even better if he's playing badly

Anyone try the Swing by Swing app? It seems pretty decent for a free app. Haven't gotten to play a round with it yet.

I've been using this for about 20 rounds so far this year. After one round, I went ahead and paid the $14/yr for the shot/club tracking and have loved the app. It's pretty accurate and being able to be given club yardages after a few rounds has been great. I have also used this on Android and iPhone now and both work great.
