What shaft do you guys use in your Driver

i use the stock pro launch in the G2, 65S. i know its a bit weak, but it fits me so well. I get great launch, nice high drives even though i use an 8.5. I was at golf galaxy earlier and was so intrested in the aldila pink NV 65S, but why change something that works well.

 

how about your guys shafts?

 

Don't worry buddy! I use a REGULAR stock shaft in my r7 and I don't care whatever others say as long as I hit it straight.

i just got me new stuff, i broke my hosel came apart in the middle of a tournament which sucked, but i have the bridgestone 460 now with the proforce V2 and it is sick, and my three wood has a fukikura tour platform, kinda wish i had put a v2 in that as well but its all good.

I have an Aldila NV 65S in mine right now, but I'm thinking about reshafting with the Proforce V2 65s. The Aldila's pretty nice though.

I had an Aldila NV 65 S in my old BB 454 but the head just didn't match up and then i found a 983k with reg shaft that for some reason fit my swing perfect. Everything else i have is stiff but this reg just matched up. It's like my 3 wood...i have the cleveland standard Stiff shaft but it just matches up well...i love it when you get the right combo

I've got the TM R5 dual type N with the Fujikura Vista Pro 70 S-flex. My swing speed is about 95mph and I love it.

ive got a graphite desing ys-6 stiff shaft its nice and soft so swingin it nice and easy but firm enough to have a go

Swapping my Grafalloy Blue ProLaunch to a Grafalloy Blue 63S in my Comp sometime in the next two weeks just to get the ball flight down a little bit.

good idea, i had the graffallloy blue prolaunch and it hits one hell of a high ball. i went to the v2 but the graffalloy blue is a good choice to bring down the flight too

I wouldn't suggest the blue if you are used to the prolaunch blue. Completley different shaft. GO for the V2 or the diamana blue board

definitely go with the blue bryan, itll lower the ballflight a lot and still have decent feel. the v2 is going to feel somewhat stiffer and have less torque than the blue, although in 65 it should be bout the same.

 

 

 

UST V2 75 X in both my driver and my 3 wood. BEST shaft for the money out there if you want something stiff and low torque with good solid feel.

I got a TM 425 Tour coming from TM with a Fuji RE*AX Rombax 65-X. We will see how that goes once it gets here.

Right now a NV 65 X tipped 1/4" in a 983E thinking about upgrading to a 905S this summer really digging the Diamana's any suggestions to which one? I have been reading around for a bit and kinda am thinking of a 73X tipped or a 83X not tipeed.. mind you it will be fulley inserted coming from titleist! good to be a part of another board. :drinks:

I have a very low ball flight and am always looking for a softer tip shaft that is stable. I went to the Aldila NVS 75S in a 905T 10.5 last year with very good results. I thought it was a good combination, but the NVS is not as tight as I was looking for. I have moved to a Diamana M 73 stiff fully inserted in a 905T 10.5. It plays perfect for me. I have a SS of around 110 and this shaft plays between stiff and x-stiff when fully inserted in a 905 series driver.

 

I have another M 73 stiff waiting for a 905R 10.5 head to arrive.

I went to a shaft fitting session at my local super dooper Alice Cooper club doc, and hit at least a dozen differnet shafts, 10 swings with each shaft to get a good average for each shaft. The Diamani "S" was the best shaft for me, and the Accra "S" 60gram was 99.8% as good as the Diamani for me. Naturally, I chose the Accra. I've also reshafted my Sonartec 07 14* wit hteh 70gram Accra.
