Haven't done one of these in a while. I don't change clubs very often (i know... a sin) as you will see. Lucky to be a golf professional and get to play what I want so even though there are some ancient clubs in the bag they work for me. Looking to upgrade my driver and hybrid this year with some Titleist offerings but we will see. My 3 wood and putter are my bread and butter hence why they are the oldest clubs in my bag. I have yet to find another 3 wood that I can work both ways and consistently hit 285.... so why change?

Decided to go with 6.5 Px's this time around. Was missing too many shots right... Also excited to try the GD Tour AD shaft in the woods!! Will probably game my Pro Platinum Newport 2 but wanted to try the select with the deeper milled face. Other goodies on order are the same shoes as last year (Dryjoy Casuals, DNA's) as well as a pair of the HyperFlex as they were comfortable as anything wearing them at the Orlando Merchandise show. And the typical 12 Dz. Pro V1x's with #41 and a Dz. Players gloves. Will post once everything arrives.

Looking for a little more forgiveness in my woods but with lower launching shafts to offset the difference. Also going to more forgiving long irons for the first time in 15 years. May like them, may not. If I don't I will keep my setup the same as last year as I really like the setup.

Good question. My experience in the past with the 690.MB's is that my distance control with the forged PW was very inconsistent. I found I was hitting it anywhere between 130-160 yards. I find with the vokey wedge that I can control my distance much better. I'm not sure why but believe it may have to do with one being forged and another being cast. And personally I enjoy the look of a vokey over the stock PW in the 716MB's as well.
