yep.. that putt kisner and blixt had looked like some grainy ones at my course... one guy hits it expects it to move right and it hangs out.. next guy hits it dead center and firm and it dives out right .... and your both like wtf?

I was watching the LPGA finish last night thinking that no way this happens on the PGA tour because someone would birdie a par 5....yet here we are with 4 guys playing better ball on a par 5 for the third time. :)

Still can't get over how Palmer was using an older UST shaft. So cool to see someone playing well and getting major tv time to be using some tech that isn't silly expensive.

This format seems a success. I'm sure they will build on this and we'll see another "2nd" tier tournament try a team format.

 

My guess is that in the years to come we will see some Dream Team pairings that will make us all weep with nostalgia...Tiger/Phil or Couples/Love or some younger player pairing up with a Champions Tour age mentor.

I think some of you guys may weep more easily than I do, in that case.

 

Back before the Tour was year round there were all manner of "silly season" events in the late fall. I never understood the appeal then and still don't. Roughly the equivalent to watching spring practice "games" for college football teams IMO.

 

The Wendy's challenge and the Skins game were always my favorites. The Wendy's had teams with PGA, Senior and LPGA tour pros on them. Was played in December and was somewhat interesting because of the 3 tours being together.

I live out in the DFW / West Texas area , calling BS on her 45mph

 

Ave yesterday was 21mph / max of 35

It took two hours to play six holes. That's pathetic. Based on her performance, she might've benefited from playing at a quicker pace.

 

And in actuality, she did hold us up ... from watching the conclusion of the final round in NO so that sucked, too.
