I like the headcover. The blackout putters aren't my style, but I can see the appeal.

Blackout putters are hard for me to aim, old eyes with implants. I prefer the tour blast or something light. The DASS are the only ones I can use on our muni greens. There sure are a lot of nice putters though. I like the lighter colors.

I have noticed the entry price range seems to be around $700-$800 then up to $1400.00+. I am not destitute but you buy these putters already made up and take a horrible beating when trying to sell them. I like Byron Morgan's style of making a putter exactly how you want one, head type, neck type, finish you like, your specs, and all markings and stampings as you want them all for a reasonable price considering it's your ultimate putter.

True...I've adapted my buying as a result. I used to try anything that looked cool, but now I only buy what I know works.

 

For me, I never really cared for Byron's stylings, and can't currently get the head style I like....so no bueno for me.

I'm not sure this is true with Bettinardis. I feel like most of the high end Betti that I end up seeing in the classifieds here or on eBay wind up sellin for less than their original price. That's not to say there aren't people trying to flip theses for a profit, I just don't think they sell there. If you impulse buy a Betti and end up breaking even on the resale, you're lucky.

 

I think the Bettinardi guys do a good job of knowing the market demands for these types of releases and then put out just a little less. It gets people riled up and wanting more if they keep missing out, but also keeps them from being stuck with dead stock.

This Raw design is awesome! Very unique look. Would like to get my hands on one of those.

I was able to snag the BB8 of this but sadly won't be keeping it. I'm just too attached to my gamer. Shame too because this thing is so good-looking. Throwing it on the BST tonight so hopefully it finds a good home.
