Dixon Golf Balls

I won a sleeve of Dixon golf balls in a Charity Tournament today. I hit the ball on a few holes. I hit the "Earth" Ball. Felt alright and seemed to go a bit farther however did not spin as much. They "claim" be performance ball with similar characteristics to a Pro V.

 

Anyone else have played these balls? Any feedback would be helpful.

Man I found a couple these on the course today and I've always thought they were cheap golf balls but damn!!!!

Yeah, but on the first tee you can say to your competitors, "Too bad you have to play that cheap $4 ball. I am prestigious enough to play a $6 ball. You suck!"

Great way to start a match as you watch their member shrivel like someone in a cold pool. Well, maybe not actually watch it.

I just found a ball today (Dixon 'Earth') and threw it in my bag.  When my ball hit a cart path and got scratched up on the 13th hole, I threw it in play on 14th hole:

Par'd a 170-yrd par-3 (7-wood to 5 yrds short of green, chipped to 2 feet, putt for par). Birdie'd the next hole, 520 yrd par-5 (great drive, nice 6-iron from fairway to fairway over trees on inside corner of banana dogleg, 9-iron to green, and 10-ft putt for birdie. Par'd next hole, 175-yrd par-3 (7-wood, 2 putt for par)Par'd next hole, 310 yard par-4 (driver, 8-iron, putted from off the green to 6 feet, made par)Bogie'd final hole... par4 dogleg right (driver, 7-wood, 58-degree wedge, missed putt from 18 feet, made short putt).The ball played pretty good for me, but looking it up there seems to be some comments about scams and how the company sets up fundraisers.  But the ball itself seem decent in the short stretch I played it. Handled fine with my drives, and played pretty good on short chips, felt solid during putting (love my new Stroke Lab putter).  I never heard of it until I found that ball today and just looked it up.
