Low Spin on a Budget... is it possible?

The mizuno has a taped head, and I was actually center of the club face pretty consistently... i was hitting it higher on the face with other clubs.

im not swing inside out, I think I’m just letting the club get ahead of my hands at impact... honestly, I was hitting my ideal shape shot, starting left of target and fading back to the middle... just generating a ton of spin.

miZuno weights were up front... not sure if it was a tape or shaft issue, but I was swinging it well... I’m still rusty on my swing, but have always fought massive amounts of spin. I’m going to go back and hit the mizuno head again when they have some different shaft options.

ive tried lighter shafts and my dispersion goes crazy...

What you need for sure is dynamic/delivered loft numbers as well as any other impact and path related data, otherwise this is all a guessing game.

Were the balls dotted properly? I have never used one personally but I've heard a lot of the ball flight and such are assumed on a Trackman with italicized numbers if two criteria aren't met. First is that the ball has metallic dots to properly figure out spin, and second, that there is sufficient fly space (something like 50 feet or 50 yards, I can't remember which) for the radar to track the ball down range. That could be the answer as tape will increase spin, but it actually lowers launch about 1-1.5* as well, so it nullifies the marginal ( I agree with @Valtiel, you need delivered (dynamic) numbers to be absolutely certain. There is no way a middle strike, with a positive AoA, even with an out-in swing should produce spin over 4000 RPMs if a) the head is a good fit in terms of loft and CoG, and b) the shaft is even remotely on the planet of weight and kick point for the player. All of these seem to be the case if middle strikes were common.
