Players Championship must sees?

Headed down to the Players next week. Best places to watch other than the 17th? Also, any must sees or dos on the area? Bars, restaurants?

I always enjoy hanging around 12 green. A lot of players go for this green off the tee and you’re right next to Tacos on 12 stand. There is also a food/beer truck court in between #10 and #11 which is easiest enough to get back and forth to. Watching players hit into #9 in 2 is also pretty fun to watch. They have to play shots around a large tree to get home.

Walk the whole course, some tough holes like 8 don’t get a lot of air time

some tee shots offer some beauty visuals that you wouldn’t expect

I like hanging out by 15. There’s a hill on the right of 15 that looks over the water to 11 green. Grab a couple beers and camp out on that hill and watch them hit into a par 5 then putt.

The pine straw left of 15 fairway where their drives land is a great spot. Every time I’ve stood there I’m dodging balls and up close with the players on their approach shots.

there’s a hill between 10 and 16 where you can see the tee box of both holes.

Hard to get in during the tourney but pussers landing. Painkiller, level 2-3. I don't like coconut, and it's still my favorite drink there. Food solid.

Poe's tavern (yes from Sullivan's island SC fame, and Edgar Allen Poe themed) in Atlantic Beach is a great burger and a good time. Been a while since I lived there but there's some good times in Atlantic Beach, sawgrass is kind of out of the way. Not alot out there.

Metro diner in sawgrass....best chicken and waffles I've ever had, and I've been to Gladys knights place in ATL. Their other food is fantastic after a long night.

At the course, I found the range early in the day to be fun, and oddly enough between 2-3, boring holes but good vantage point. Quick walk back to 17, but you can watch 16 coming in and 17 if you pick the right side.
