Just picked up this Tour Edge Exotics Tour Proto Putter....

I just picked up this TEE David Glod Proto Putter (because I like my TEE CNC irons so much).

 

Has anybody tried these? I'm buying it without ever seeing it in person, but the pictures on the TEE website got me hooked (http://exoticsgolf.c...to-putters.html)

 

I'm liking my SeeMore m2, but this thing looks so good.....when it comes I will do a review.

i was very interested in these when i first saw them online but i cant find one to look at in person. nobody seems to be carrying them. not even PGA Tour SS

I hit a few putts with one at Haggin Oaks when TEE had a demo day and I thought it had really good feel

Good putter. The TE rep brought one by to show me. Very nice roll off the face and the weight is a bit heavier than other blade style putters which I really like. Overall, great putter to consider.

I've been playing the 2.1 blade for awhile now. The craftmanship on these is as good as any out there. The head is heavy which I like, don't know the grams but heavier than Scottys I would say. The blade length is a bit longer than most also. This is nice and helps for alignment if you're a perpendicular to the target guy like me. The head also sits very flat on the ground. Overall great quality putter right up there with the best. Very solid. These sold for $300 when I bought mine.

according to the specs page, all three models are 350g, and the weight does not vary with shaft length

It's one of the best feeling putters you will hit...I spent 30 minutes rolling one the other day...puts a great roll on the ball too.

I bought one of these while I was in Florida last year and played it for about 3 months, it is a great putter I just don't do good with a putter that is that heavy if I could get a lighter one I would still be playing it. Feels better than most out there.

I found one last week. Loved the way it rolled in the store. They use 303 steel for these putters. Great feel and the way the face is milled really grips the ball. I was putting with a rock ball and it made it feel soft. I was able to take it to the course and putt on a real green with a ProV1. We all have our definition of "butter", but this one works for me. Weight is good for me, the face works, the ball feels very smooth coming off the putter. Played two rounds with it since and have had no three putts and have made 6 birdies (from 10-20 feet) with this putter.

Tour Edge seems to fly under the radar. It doesn't market the heck out of their products, but the Exotics line just offers terrific clubs. I have seen these putters new for $199-220 in my area. If you like a milled putter in the conventional style (Anser, etc.) then you owe it to yourself to try one of these putters. I believe you will like the putter and saving a few bucks as well.
