I got to try both heads with a Black Tie shaft the other day. Hit the Tour first, and was shocked at how small it looked at address. I hit it fine, but after years of playing 440cc+ drivers the Tour will look shockingly small to most folks. The Performance head looked much more customary at address, and just using the eye-balls launch monitor I couldn't see much difference in performance. The sound and impact sensation were also very similar. My guess is that the larger head is preferred by some guys on Nike's staff based largely on address appearance.

From what I learned at the PGA show in the Nike booth, the two models produce different/significant spin rates - so depending on shaft/swing speed/angle of attack/etc some tour guys will use the performance vs. the tour.

I have a set of combos, the full cavity comes in 2 types - cavity and pocket cavity with an undercut. You can just see it in the close up. I have it in my 4 iron, it's very forgiving

I wonder if they just went with the 7 to get the weight right in the set, or like someone else said he had a couple of options and commingled them. I do find it surprising that he went to Dynamic Gold. I thought he used to play Project X in his irons?

That 2 iron is unbelievable. I've had it for a while, but only just recently put it in play. Don't know why I kept the hybrid in the bag so long. The combo 2 is stupid easy.

The Cover Tour is really a low launching low spin head.. a beast of a driver. Needs some massive heave to keep it up in the air, let alone trying to play 18 holes with it.

And about the 2 iron.. Noh Seung Yul launched a VR_S 2 iron from 244 in Dubai yesterday, carrying it all the way to the hole .

Good eye...I am going to guess that for some reason he likes the offset and or bounce in the combo blade vs the vr pro as they are different specs... I find it interesting that its only the 7 iron...

Yes, I was wondering as well. Could he possibly pull out his 3 iron? That may leave him too big of a gap at 230 yards
