PX 5.5 vs KBS C-Taper Lite

Can anyone compare the two as far as ball flight, distance and feel?

I thought the ball flight was a little higher with the ctaper lite, but nice and penetrating, like the PX.
The C taper lite felt alot better to me, and I've spent a bit of time with the PX 5.5s and loved the results, hated the feel.

I can echo the same feeling regarding the Project X has the poster above. I've had great success with
5.5, but hated the feel also. In doing the KBS fitting tool, they recommended the c-taper lite, I just
can't get out of my head that the c-taper lite will feel better than the c-taper. That shaft had no feel
whatsoever for me.

[/quote] The KBS fitiing tool also recommended c-taper lite for me, still having had a chance to hit one yet. But I did a hit the Tour V in the Callaway Apex and was very impressed with the feel,as well as the few extra yds of carry I got. I think most of that was due to the fact the the Callaway was 6 iron loft was 2* stronger than what I playing and for me the Tour V was a mid- to low high launch but still carried at least 5 yds longer.

I actually just ordered a set of C-Taper Lites for my AP2's after working with a fitter. I currently have DG S300s in my irons now. I gained on average 7 yards of carry with the CTL and went from a smash factor in the 1.24-1.26 range to 1.32-1.35. I have a quick tempo and the CTL's load much better for me. I tested it in an AP2 714 head, but loft/lie was identical so I trust it. The other difference was much tighter dispersion with the CTL. I am not saying I hit all of the balls perfect but man the good shots felt so good and the not so good ones still felt better than the DGs. Haha the absolutely awful shanks felt bad with all of the shafts. Better ball flight (penetrating) with the CTL than the DG

I bought C-Taper Lites in Stiff

I tried:

C-Taper in X - Felt ok, dispersion not as tight, distance was close to the CTLs
Several Rifle Shafts and flexes - They didn't feel good to me, I can't describe it, harsh maybe? Ball flight was okay nothing too impressive
DG S-300 - Hit them too high, didn't work for my swing tempo

I give the C-Taper Lites 2 thumbs up (and I wish they would get here soon so I can get them installed)!
