I am going to stay 3 days in July. I have 3 kids 5,7,9. I wanted to know what is best place to stay.

For waterpark resorts, the two main ones are the Kalahari and the Wilderness. It depends on how big of rides your kids like, however, both will probably do just fine. If you want to golf, the Wilderness has a very nice 18 hole course called Wild Rock as well as a short nine hole course. The Kalahari has Trapper's Turn, a 27 hole facility. It really depends on how much you would like to spend and what are your top priorities. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

I want my kids to have a blast. How is trappers turn? Which course would you select?

Wilderness has a much better kid setting in my opinion. I'm not that old, and I grew up going to the dells every once in a while. Both places have an arcade, and at least two water parks (one outdoor and one indoor). The Wilderness has a giant ball pit/play ground that used to be my favorite thing in the Dells. The Wilderness also has three different indoor parks, and I believe two outdoor water parks? My point is if you truly want your kids to have a blast, both parks will do it; however, I'd give the edge to the Wilderness. As for golf, here are both Trappers Turn (Canyon) and Wild Rock:

I would play Wild Rock first but the trappers turn courses are nice too. Northern bay up north about 30 min is a fun course with some replica holes from famous courses.

The three courses listed are the first ones that came to my mind as well. I've played Trappers many times, but haven't played the others but heard really, really good things about them. Regarding places to stay, I would suggest Kalahari. It literally has everything you would need right there. It might be a bit more expensive, but I think it would be worth it. I've stayed there a handful of times and never been disappointed.
