Whistling Straits Trip - Food, Bars

In two weeks a group of buddies and I are headed up to play the American Club courses over a full weekend. The golf and lodging is already arranged (playing both Blackwolf Run courses, both Whistling Straits courses, the Bull at Pinehurst Farms, and we are staying in downtown Sheboygan at the Blue Harbor resort), but I was looking for some rec's on food/entertainment.

 

A few threads I read mentioned trying to steer clear of the restaurants associated with the American Club if possible, and seeing as we are staying in downtown Sheboygan it makes finding spots in town easier I suspect. I've looked on Yelp and saw a few spots and reviews, but was curious about getting a perspective from some golfers. Can anyone recommend spots for:

 

Great burger, craft beers, and ample TV viewing? (with it being a buddies trip, upscale/creative gastropub/bar type food will probably be the preferred diet of the weekend)

Good coffee in the mornings? (the prospect of playing such great tracks will have me in bed early I'm sure, but on the chance that the buddies part of 'buddies trip' rears it's head I want to be prepared for some assistance in early morning energy)

Anyplace with good pizza and good beers?

 

Anything else I might be missing?

I would not avoid the restaurants at each of the courses, they are quite good. Maybe expensive, but good. Right across the parking lot from the motel you are in, is an upscale Italian restaunt that is really good. Not much of a bar or party atmosphere, but good food (in the $15-20 range per plate.)

I've got a little pizza joint that will not make anyones 'best of' list, but I thought was fantastic. Its a little dive called Fay's Pizza. Looks like an old A&W Rootbeer building, but has good pizza and cheap. I did not like Field to Fork. Overpriced and not as good as other places.

The Horse & Plow attached to the American Club is pretty great. It's an upscale sports bar atmosphere. Definitely has ample tv viewing, and great burgers. It's worth checking out. The cheese curds are amazing

Il Ritrovo has the best pizza around. Authentic Neopolitan za. You'll thank me. Enjoy the trip!

Can't beat sitting on the deck of the bar at Blackwolf and having beers and watching groups come up 18.

Sitting at 18 at black wolf is a must. Love the food there and betting my buddies on the groups coming in. Lol.
