I'm a big supporter of Frank Hartwick at Sellinger's Power Golf in Addison. He uses trackman indoors in their studio and I have always been impressed with his work. If nothing else, you're going to get a blunt, honest assessment in fitting you to a club. I don't know him to be biased towards any one manufacturer as he's built Callaway, Mizuno, Adams, Titleist, and TM clubs for me and/or my friends in recent years.

There's a reason you'll find the signature of pretty much every DFW-based touring pro (and a former POTUS) on the wall in the shop.

He's also able to do custom grinds, ferrules, stamping, paintfills, shaft PUREing, etc on site.

I had a really good experience with Mark Maness at Golden Bear in Carrollton. Spent a little over an hour with me just working through scoring clubs outdoors. I've referred several to him.

Frank at Sellinger's is also really good, but he does utilize indoor fittings.

A bad day on the course is better than
a good day at work!

Yep - I would absolutely recommend using Frank. He's incredibly sharp, has access to fantastic equipment (and keeps just about everything you could possibly want in stock), and the pricing is very fair (in my opinion). I don't think you could go wrong paying him a visit.

Titleist 915D3 9.5*, Oban Tour Proto 65 04
Titleist 915F 15*, Tour AD-DI 8S
Titleist 915H 21*, Tour AD-DI 95S

Scotty Cameron Futura X

I know you want unbiased, but I got fantastic service from the Jim Mcclean center in Ft. Worth, it is however a regional fitter for Titleist.

Titleist TSR4 10 w/Ventus TR Blue 7X
TM BRNR Mini 13.5 w/Ventus TR Blue 7X

Titleist TSR3 18 w/Fuji 9.2TS X or TM P760 3 w/HZRDUS Black 6.5 105
Artisan FC 4, Artisan HC 5&6, Artisan MB 7-PW (4 TI X100 120, 5-PW TI X100)
Artisan 51,55,60 (51 TI X100; 55,60 TI S400)

I went to fit2score, my wife had given me a fitting and club for my birthday. I'm 64, bad neck, questionable knee, ss around 85. He had only Adams products, although a zillion shafts, and fitted me with a very expensive shaft in a good Adams head--in a TS flex. He had all the fitting bells and whistles, it was outside, but I wound up with a driver I could not play. My fault, but I trusted what he he told me. I did this at the first part of October, didn't get the club until the middle of November, and it was too late for any swap out by the time I had any significant playing time with the club. Plus, it's 450 miles from my home to Dallas.

I go to frank for all of my work and he's fitted me for irons as well. Can't go wrong here.

I've also heard good things about cool clubs but I've never been there myself.

That's true. I went there for my driver and woods fitting 2 years ago, and of course I bought Titliest 910 driver and 3 wood. It was still a good experience though, but its fairly obvious that they aren't unbiased.

As per my previous post, I went to CoolClubs (finally) and it was a great experience. I wound up purchasing TM Rsi 2 irons and a Ping G30 driver. It was a lot of fun and got to hit balls inside and outside with a trackman. Highly recommended.

Picking up another set of irons from Frank tomorrow. I already had the heads(S3 Pro's) and he took the time to install/pull 3 different shafts so that I could test out a few options as I was going away from my usual Pxi 6.0. Ended up settling on DGPro S300 with navy/platinum NDMC grips. Once we settled on a shaft, he built the 6 iron to spec and wanted me to test it outdoors before building the rest of the set. He then individually fit the lie angle for each iron rather than just saying "1.5 degrees flat" across the board.

As Frank likes to say, "I deal in precise measurements; I don't deal in marketing BS." In other words, he has zero interest in working in generalities because there are no industry standards for flex, length, loft, and lie.
