I'd opt for Camp Creek over Shark's Tooth. Better course and slightly nicer area, although they're only a few miles apart. They may have a reciprocity arrangement between them, though.

That's not the impression I got from members of each course. I'll admit I didn't really ask for specifics as it doesn't apply to me. My understanding is that the initiation fee is significantly lower at Sharks Tooth versus Camp Creek.

I think Shark's Tooth is $50k initial, then $500 a month, plus a $2k cart fee each year. Up from $10-20k right after the housing crash.

This is not true. I live in / member of Regatta Bay and we have no priority or availability at Kelly. They do not get any benefits from RB either.

Regatta Bay is a great place to live. It is right near everything, but is gated so very private. Most of the houses are also NOT in a flood zone. We chose it over KP because a lot of the homes in KP were built before the re-zoning and a lot of their houses ended up being IN a flood zone.

EDIT: Just reread your post, you were talking about Shark's Tooth and Camp Creek. My bad. I believe you are right, they are under the same ownership / member benefits.

I was wrong. Talked to a member who said they do get rights at both courses. Pretty good value in my opinion.

Is it difficult to get on at Shark's Tooth? I went to the website but didn't see much as far as getting on as a non-member.

I think that course it private. There may be a few ways to get on, but I am not sure how. Camp Creek (the sister course to Shark's Tooth and owned by the same people) recently went private as well.

I was fortunate enough to play ST in the US Open Local Qualifier this past year. It is a very demanding track. I thought Camp Creek was a much better layout.
