Best Public practice facility

I would like to know what wrx'ers consider the best public practice facility in ct. I mean has a nice range with green targets to practice iron shots, nice grass to hit that isn't beat up. A sand area to practice bunker shots into a green. Let me know what you have found.

Lyman's new practice facility is very nice.

Just to note with Great River, they don't always use the grass range, some days it's mats only. And they charge $15 for a bucket (50-55 balls) on mats and $20 for grass which is insane. Their putting green looks like it has an elephant buried in it. Just not worth it IMHO. Unfortunately there isn't much else good, range-wise, at least in my area. Sometimes Oak Lane will have grass to hit off of, but it feels like you're hitting off a cliff.

Here in Massachusetts - my favorite and thankfully close by is the Atlantic Driving Range in Attleboro, has a very well maintained grass area and separate mat area (the grass sometimes restricted to irons only), just off Route 95, pretty decent quality balls, not restricted in flight -- the rates are the same for grass or mat:

$7 for 50
$9 for 75
$12 for 115

Great River is nice but really pricey and they charge more for grass

Lymans new facility is nice and reasonably priced... landing area is somewhat featureless

The Fairways in Branford is best for the money, IMO - $12 for 115 balls, $15 all you can hit one day a week
