Purchased new driver; Now I have "power fade"?

Its not a 'slice', or maybe it is, can you help?

I just moved from a Sasquatch Tour 10.5 w/ Diamana 83 shaft Regular to a Cleveland Hibore XL Tour 9.5 w/ Red shaft Stiff. I am getting a noticable distance increase which is great, but the ball has very weird movement now. They all look like they are straight as an arrow like I always have hit, but right when it gets to the apex of the trajectory and starts to decline it takes a wicked 90* turn (fade). It doesnt look like a slice at all, there is no left to right movement, its more of a beautiful drive to massive turn at the end. The guy I play with calls it a 'power fade' and I told him I dont care what the hell it is, I dont want to do that, lol. Any suggestions? Could it be the stiffer shaft w/ the stiff tip? Any tips to straighten it out? Could it be that the Hibore has an open face and the sasquatch sat square? I appreciate any tips you can give me! Thanks

Well, I am no expert on shafts but here is what I think is generally correct:

 

If a shaft is too stiff, you tend to get misses on the right because you do not use the torque properly.

Also, an open face would off course be an explanation. What is you swing speed?

Well that is the problem, I have no where to get my swing analyzed where I live so i've never had any of that done. I am 22 and I like to believe im around the 100ish mark, maybe a little higher, which would put me just above regular flex correct? I went with the stiffer tip because my trajectory was too high with the active tip. So basically I just need to either adjust to hit the club correctly or go out of town to get my swing tested and purchase a different setup? Thanks for the response btw!

unless you have a very quick tempo to your swing, I should think regular flex should be ok for you. What shaft have you been using in your previous driver? What about going for a stiff tip reg flex shaft?

I would guess it's the face angle. 3 degrees open, combined with a flatter lie angle and the neutral head weighting will all contribute to a left to right ball flight. My best guess is your Nike was a much more true neutral/square setup than the Tour XL.

The Tour XL is 3* open!
