TEE tends to fly under the radar b/c much like Bridgestone, they're hard to demo...but it's always interesting how once people try them, how impressed they are with the performance....
[/quote]

Very true they are hard to demo=hard to find which makes it a great product, you always want something different and something that works which is exactly what they produce

I have never purchased a wood sight unseen but the CB Pro is the only one I would consider purchasing sight unseen. I love the smaller head. Something about the smaller headed woods appeal to me more and I hit them more accurately. Is it that much smaller in comparison to the beta? The grooves on the bottom seem like a sales tactic....

The CB Pro 13.5 has a similar appearance to my Titleist 909F3 13, it might appear just a tad bigger than the 909 at address. The CB Pro 13.5 is very similar in appearance, maybe a touch smaller, than the CB5 16.5. Hopefully that helps you out.

I can't speak to the non-beta XCG7 line, but the XCG7 beta IS a joke.

It's a joke how long the driver and fairway woods are. (Lost count of how many >330 yard drives I hit with it over a recent 10 day vacation, including a 370 yarder (downhill/downwind, but still). I'm hitting the ball farther this season than I ever have in my life, and at age 46, with the XCG7 beta.)

It's a joke how straight they are. (I'm always amazed at how drives that seem like misses, on a relative basis, turn out to be in or just off the fairway.)

It's a joke how forgiving they are. (Bad, off-center hits generally lose maybe 10-20 yards, max.)'

It's a joke how much they've helped my game overall. (Playing the best tee to green golf of my life (again, at age 46) and shot my all-time best round this Summer, all thanks in large part to length and improved consistency off the tee with the beta.)

And it's a joke how many of them I've bought.
--Driver.
--Backup driver, just in case an airline loses my gamer, or it otherwise gets lost, stolen or damaged.
--11.5 "3 wood" (really more like a 2 wood or mini driver)
--Driver (regular version, non-beta) for my son

I found the beta coupled with the kiyoshi people to be absolutely smooth & felt fantastic. Good distance & straight to a slight fade too. Then I tried it with the vts tour SPX 7s silver....what a sledge hammer! Same trajectory, fade, but longer. I read that the beta tends to a fade biased club. Wish I tried the kiyoshi white in it.

The only way I was able to demo anything from TEE was on the used rack at the local Golfsmith, which had a decent amount of TEE stuff show up from time to time, I hit the CB4 and 5 that way and the XCG5. I love that the XCG7 came out, made the price of the XCG6 drop like a stone and I was able to pick up a 16.5° 4 wood with a RIP Sigma X for $60 shipped off the 'Bay. Pulled the shaft and sold it to a friend for $30 and put my preferred steel shaft in it, instant bomber and for a total of $30 out of pocket. Win freaking win, did I mention this thing just goes and goes off the tee? Awesome fairways.

That's the part that's great is that their resell value isn't that good, which is good cuz that's not why I buy clubs, but it makes shopping for these used easy and cheap. It blows me away how awesome this product is and how little it goes for used.
