Been doing a review of my fairway set up

hitting; sldr, r15, and tour issue Rbz stage 2, 3 and 5 woods - pro95x shaft, trackman

All pretty close in terms of BS, great clubs

5w - the sldr rained supreme with the best dispersion and distance at 245-251 carry, this worked better than the other heads

3w - tour issue RBZ s2 won on ball speed with 162 mph off the deck bs , distance though Rbz s2 was about 255 - 260 carry, the r15 ecplised slightly with 265 carry 160mph and most importantly was a little straighter for me - didn't have access to a SLDR 3w

Def want to check the sldr 3w head - the feel is very good with the sldr heads, also I'm a big fan of the grey

Passed the trackman tests on a couple of different sessions, now for the ultimate , on course where the rubber meets the road b.c. I know many of the wrx membership found the SLDR heads to be All Star Trackman performers and real world flops.

And broke back out the SLDR 5w 19*

Got a set of Lamkin UTx (testing the R15 - i really liked that grip on the driver) the BOGO from Lamkin make it worth trying.

Got a different set up of weights for the club, was 354g which I like heavy drivers, but that's a little too heavy for this guy. Static weight is down to 348 which is still a little high, but more manageable, I like around 345g.

Screwed around with upright lie angles - and its mangled my game causing me to come in steep on everything, bent the irons flat and after one practice session striking the ball better already

Feels super solid , its pretty low launching, TS also appears a little flatter lie angle, I know it does not.

Sets up great to the eye, need more testing

Alpha Pro Tour head, great peformer, however, I couldnt get it to fit my eye at address.

Love the RBZs2 woods, I had two sets a Tour issue regular and some slightly different tour issue prototype heads, they where a slightly deeper. Incredible ball speeds, and the feel was amazing - The Fujikura P95 shafts didnt hurt those either.

SLDR - Build a custom 8* driver, which was flat out whicked, so I got a TS tour issue 3w to match (I had a regular off the rack SLDR 5w as an earlier purchase) The whole series I liked, but in the driver, I want something just a touch more forgiving and a flatter lie angle, slightly smaller head, ****if you look at most of my clubs specs, I like flatter lie angles, esp in the woods, toe up screws with my head***

Went to a Demo day and finally got to try a 915 with a wide array of shaft options that fit me, and got some spectacular performance, and my weakness in my game is driving, so I have been searching for a good set up that best fits me, but with that there is a caveat, I like the woods to match (whole bag doesnt have to match up for some reason personally like the woods to match), hence the 915 woods - and they are flat, though the new R15 lie from TMAG is 57* or so degrees.

Little hiccup on the 915 FD and F order - ordered D+ W 80TX shafts, TX is a 4 week wait fyi, even though I plan on pretty much using my Rombax p95s in the heads, I tested the 80TX Whites and like those.

Need a temporary 3w, so bought a Tour Edge XCG7 Beta 15* with a Blue Board 80x, till the new equipment comes in

Was the TX an upcharge? Looks like better materials in the TX shafts according to MRC site. Interested to hear how those play.

Well, I think after hitting the 915f inside it seems pretty hot itself, haven' t hit fd...got fit for the speeder 8.2x tour spec in it with a 15* head...been wondering what the P 95 x would be like in comparison, I have never hit one but I tend to gravitate to heavier in drivers...your thoughts on the difference between 8.2x tour spec and P 95 x would be appreciated...

Did some updating - 915 is in the bag

Waiting on the 915 woods - the D+ W 80TX where special order so they are taking a little longer

Adjusted my irons after I saw myself on the V1 app

Like the 915, but if you do not hit it right on center, its forgiving to a certain extent, but WOW the sound is god awful on slightly off center strikes, center not so bad, but not the normal "titleist sound TM"

Im going to hot melt it, playing at 44.5" i have about 6 grams(green weight) on toward the toe, that made a significant difference in sound and feel

Not perfect , but razor cut paint pen $1.49, hated hated the gold color. 20+ was still too much for the cord no cord cameron grip but better than the 70-80 for cord no cord in other colors

The P95 is a little softer than the Fit on PRO 95xx (which is just a 100 gram version / older brother of the P95)

Id recomend an 1" - I think mine are around at least 1.25-1.5"

The Fit on PRO CPM = 290 5w

P95 CPM - 275 -280 3w

To be honest unsure, told my club maker get it to 275-280 area, Ill check what he did and let you know. Its cut down to playing length 44.5 CUT

Still waiting on those shafts - Will test the TX's but the P95's/P95xx Tour Issue are going into the new woods. Not sure if I got tagged with the upcharge

Added about 5 Grams of neutral hot melt

Loving the shaft! Not sure why there is a serial number on the shaft, thought they where usually under the grip?

Had bent my irons really flat because, well there where a number of reasons. Maybe not a good idea, saw some video and it looked like my hands where between my legs at address and the set up felt terrible.
