My driver own driver shoot out (varitablity adding a speeder EVO TS to one of these heads) right now both Fujikura Fuel TS 70x

Alpha - Like the adjustability of the alpha, spin seems low, havent hit it enough to really form an opinion - had too much weight in the head when first hit, 14 Toe , 1 heal at 45.5 , it was too heavy for me, and I like heavy SW sticks.

SLDR - feel comfortable looking at this head, IMOP sits more open than the BBA, feel is great, prob because there is 10grams of hot melt in the back of the head.

Both 8* heads

Anyone ever game both of these?

Hit these back to back yesterday same shaft.

SLDR - slightly lower spin on all shots, for me a little left tendancy I think because of the upright lie angle
(this club head was awesome with a new Speeder TS EVO shaft in it)

BBA - while at the shop, I hot melted the head, so the feel is just about the same as the SLDR head, which may still feel just slightly better. The BBA set up is very consitently straight for me, and very little left tendancy, that might be because of the moveable weights, I have about 8 grams right in the toe of the club, and flatter lie angle. As for spin, on well most shots just as low as the SLDR, but on off hits the SLDR is 300-400 lower. * The Bertha is a anti left club set up for me * Going to add the a speeder EVO TS to the club and see how it does, my spin with it head it a touch high at 3000, but that is swing mechanics not the head.

How did the Fuel TS compare to the Evolution 757 TS? I've got a 460 SLDR coming with the regular white 757 but the specs on the Evolution look really nice.

Also, have you had a chance to check out the R15 430? Very solid and as forgiving as the SLDR 460 for me. Hopefully they release a black version eventually, very nice head shape and somewhere between the SLDR 460 and 430 for size at address.

The EVO TS def. feel smoother IMOP, and just as low spin maybe even lower. I frequency both Fuel TS 70x shafts, they came in fairly close, 277 and 276 respectively - didnt Freq the EVO TS though.

The EVO TS felt great in the 460 SLDR head great spin numbers, though I think my gamer is going to be my BBA 8.5 PRO with the EVO TS 757 shaft, the straightest club for me out of the two, and I love the flat lie angle and the adjustability with the weighting system. Hot melted the BBA pro head and it has that SLDR feel now.

Got some time with the new shaft on the course yesterday, and also a chance to use the Mizuno sticks - Tough to compare 100% as it was only 60* , rainy, and a little 10-15 mph breeze, in west texas thats considered no wind.

- Fuel TS 70x - def lower launch than the AD DI 8x, very straight, as for distance , with the light rain and different wind direction was tough to est dist. diff. only hit one badly left and that was the indian not the arrow, prob b.c. I am not used to playing with rain gloves on. Need to work on playing with the rain gloves.
Finally got this on trackman, should have had the AD DI to hit against

ave #
-160 - 162 BS
- (-1.5 to - 1.9) AOA : I used to hit up on it so nice I do not know what happened
- 2700 - 3000 spin (that would be better if I had not hit down like a freakin sand wedge; Indian not the arrow issue with the set up)
- LA 10.6*
- smash 1.48 to 1.5

Compared to the AD DI 8x - both shafts tipped 1" and @ 44.5"

AD DI launched a degree or two higher, my smash factor with the Fuel Tour Spec was higher, thus the length is a little longer, Big Positive im straighter with the Fuel Tour Spec

If I can obtain a positive AOA on this sucker it will be a great set up
Decent numbers, but it looks like you could definitely gain from more launch. Even though I know you didn't get to compare, I'm curious to see how the DI profile stacks up against the Fuel, because the Fuel and DI are very different profiles. The DI is a profile that gives me great launch and ball speed, while I can't load the Fuel well, even the lighter weights and a flex down.

Edit - nice set up too!
I like the AD DI 8x - but I think I am moving to the Speeder 757 EVO TS, just love that feel, IMOP falls btw the Fuel TS 70x and a AD DI 8x (the ad di 8x hving the most feel)

I have two fuels for TMAG tip and Cally, damn things are STOUT, one at 277 CPM and the other 280 CPM

Nice to see a few pics of your 4's. Glad you were able to get the SW's all sorted out with those slightly abnormal specs. I bet your irons look great bent weak 1 or 2 degrees, it takes out that last smidgen of offset. You're meticulous with the specs of your clubs, I love it!

Also cool to see the Evo TS came out on top after some testing. Being the stock shaft in the 430 TP this year makes buying a driver very easy for me.

Hitting the R15 with the 757 EVO TS made me get this shaft for the cally head. Still getting the BBA PRO dialed in. Very straight straight driver for me - impressive ball speeds.

I just love love, titleist irons, smallish heads, satin, HOWEVER, when I was changing shafts, because of the constant weight in the C Taper X, it was hell trying to get the sw to what they should have been, the A and B heavier muzino heads allowed me to lock down the specs pretty much spot on.
(The .25" length spacing from 6 iron down is awesome)

the 1-2* decrease in loft, IMOP allow better shot making, play it a little further back, or really throw it up in the air.

Made some changes to the Don Cameron putter - side note another member noted here that not many on tour use the deep deep milled, after trying deep milling BC admittedly I was drawn in by WRX influence, I found I'm not such a fan. I've purged my putter rack of deep milled, and love the way this rolls.

Changes
It's a 340 head so it was made to 34", I lengthened to 35" with a Nippon NS Pro putter shaft , too the static wieght from 506 to 542. Grip change from studio design (which Id go back to in a minute ) to cameon No cord with + 2 wraps

*when I first got it I toyed around with it a 34" and have to admit it rolled awesome, the look of the roll was STRONG and release felt great * it was with much trepidation and reluctance I reshafted and went to my normal playing length.

Only changes left ; and to silver out the grip letters and change the paint fill to black - other wise it's good to roll

What's that SLDR at, 6.5*? That's scratchswinger territory. All of the Speeder line is awesome but you never hear any praise for the VC series, only the TS shafts. 8.1 was one of my favorites, had it tipped 1.5" in a couple 3 woods. Great ball speed and surprisingly flat flight for how good it felt.

Had read similar reviews as yours on the VC series, figured a little more launch on this head can't hurt, this is tipped 1" , its probably like 6.75*, Id like to get it measured, might be squaring it up more with testing. about 10g of hot melt in the back of the club, changing the slider weight out for a 10gram option.

The VC x.1 is one of my favorite profiles, the 8.1 is supposedly closest to the Rombax 80B, which I still have in a 9015D.

Folks seem to like this shaft, well have to see if it's a blue bomber or blue b**** for me.
Wow, this shaft coupled with that head - need more testing - and time trials on the course, but very very interesting 1st Round of testing on trackman.

Never hit the Rombax, BUT, what I can compare it too is a More Stout and controlled AD DI 8x.

Interesting combo, SLDR 8* w/ Speeder VC 8.1x, 10-13* of launch - more testing required

Good feel, easier to load and launch than I expected, but very flat flight. Sounds like you're seeing some of the same.

Very much so, shaft is different, mentioned in another thread, like an AD DI 8x on PED's. Good shots, 275 carry 10.7 LA, 2230 Spin, if I flip it, 3300 RPMs, not to shabby for a mis hit- 160-165 MPH BS. Had a few higher but didn't get enough of those to count.

Played a little bit of a power fade, Had Positive AOA, but slighty outside-in, indian not the arrow
