So far so good on the fairways, the F is really easy to hit, FD little higher level of difficulty- monster off the tee, its really low spin.. Its really nice to dial in the Titliest Adjustable hosel, may not crank open the face as much as id like but being able to change the lie is a custom option that I really like.

On that note, the heads are really like, with the P95 shafts the SW out at like c9 , d0(lamkin full cord cross line 50gram grip), order them with the heavier weight.

I'm hanging on to the sldr's until I get a chance to hit the 915's outdoors. When I get back to CT I'll be hitting them indoors against my SLDR on the monitor and then try to find an outdoor demo day to confirm results. Sounds like they're working out well for you. And the FD sounds really good, they're making a 5 wood now too.

in regards to the FD 5 wood, not sure if one would want a 5 spinning that low

The D3 at least for me is rediculously low spin, almost too low 1900-2000, need to get it up a touch to around 2200 at least.

On the D3 driver is that the new shaft or some other adjustments? Thought you said you were around 2500 a while back. 8.1 is an absolutely awesome shaft.

My take is that a club with that much loft can't really have too little spin. At the same time I'm not playing a 95g XX shaft in it either. If it's running through greens I could go with a blueboard or something. Plus the ability to adjust upwards 1.5 degrees.

2500 was in the A1 postion, I cranked open the head and flattened in C1, and maybe it was with the W70TX vs the 8.1x, with it open and flat I was hitting up on it around 3*, spin was real low, IMOP too low less you have just off the chart LA

Great setup! What's your opinion of the Redwood? I'd assume you like it since you're gaming it but would love to hear your thoughts on it. I've been trying to get my hands on a lefty Redwood but they don't come around for sale very often.

I like the redwood, however, have sinced moved to a Don Cameron NP2 Studio Stainless. SC is a little heavier head, shape is pretty good on the Redwood, but like the NP2 shape just a shape a little better - plus the SC head is closer to 345g. I really like the dull grey plating on the Redwood.

Im playing my putter 35.5 to 36"

Got a hold of a YSC Putter shaft, dropped it in the camerone vs the Nippon, trying 36" playing for a little, @ 6'2"- 1/2 , sets up real nice, can see the line even better. 5 ft and in, practicing, very very solid.

Open up the floor to thoughts on the following driver shafts, applicaiton for SLDR driver, shaft wise I want to move toward a little higher launching shaft (i know loft can make more of a difference) but want a slightly softer profile possilbly than the Speeder VC 8.1, I am going to surmise that anything other than the Speeder 8.1VC with its 86 gram weight will launch a touch higher.

Options looking at
Fuji PRO 73TS - I like the pro b.c. this is supposedly built of the Rombax P series profile
Speeder 7.1 VC
Speeder 757 EVO TS
Speeder 757x
Speeder 661x TS
MRC Kuro Kage TX

Thought about an AD DI again, loved the shaft but at times if my transition tempo was off I got cross ways with that shaft

thanks

Gotten some more time to test the PRO 73 TS, great shaft (I know the head has more to do with Spin and Launch Characteristics than the shaft) but the feel and peformance is great in the SLDR head. Find the spin to be around ~2200 - 2500 (got a lot of shots with 2200 or less) , shaft makes it easy to hit up on the ball, LA being around 11.8* @ 167-169 BS

This was a cheap expirement for $85, a pull from the golf shop, so its only 44.5" playing length which isnt quite where I like to play the driver vs 45". My only complaint would be that the shaft feels a touch on the light side.

My next step is to try Speeder PRO 76 TS, which is about 80 grams, which if its as good as the PRO TS 73 with a little added weight would be a awesome shaft.

I prefer the Grey and White of the PRO 73 TS to the Speeder PRO 76 TS

Is the Kingston still sitting out?
I just threw a Lamkin Deep Etched on my KP2 and I'm in love - can't wait to get it out on the course. Been testing a Machine M10 with half shaft offset flow neck and I'm looking forward to comparing to the Kingston now!
Great bag and documentation, really enjoy your thread!
Shouldn't have stopped rolling it really,I went to a different head shape, and really like the set up performance of a tri sole, thus I broke out an old Cameron studio stainless

Sound and feel of the Kingston is off the hook - got to love the blank sole and dale head / 009 look
Hate to say it but the kp2 is a tri sole and I love it head and shoulders over my Cameron studio stainless np2 340g... Not to complicate matters!
Damn you , had a kp1 - never a kp2, I really do feel like the milling and the sound / feedback feel are perfect on the kingstons
Sorry! Just helping a wrx'er out!

Been Gaming the SLDR + PRO 73 TS Combo great performance

*FYI* after doing some research, the Speeder PRO from what I can glean is a PRO 73 TS that is counter balanced.

Picked up for the hell of it - 8.5* loft, 2* open, 10g of hotmelt to make it weigh 206g, lie angle of 59*

An old School Favoirte - SFTP LCG, want to see how it compares to a Aeroburner TP.

So a Tour issue SLDR 9.5* , TI SFTP 2.0 LCG 8.5*, and titleist 915 D3 8.5*

Walk into a bar, the ensuing shootout who wins?

Tested on a driving range, to avoid being melodramatic....... the SFTP LCG

I have some trackman #'s ill add in later

Equipment that has caught my eye

New Titleist 716 CB's, though I really don't see myself changing from the Mp4's

Just bagged a set of TMAG R15 Fws

Id like to Try

Maybe R15 driver 10.5* and possibly a Aeroburner TP 9.5* with some sort of heavy shaft - the SFTP 2.0 TP I got in the bag has me curious to the Modern Day brother of that club.

Just spent $2200 to save my 2 year old golden, there went my 009 money, Literally the "dog ate it"
