Older JDM or japanese quality blades to look for cheap?

I don't know how many of you saw my vega refinish thread here:

BUT, it has me wanting to do it again. What are some older (but not too old) specific sets of awesome blades I should look out for in rough shape on eBay to do the same thing to ?

 

I like the lines of some tourstage stuff, but am new to JDM and don't know if there are any gems I should be on the lookout for to restore and I welcome all ideas. Thanks!

Yeah, you can find some decent fourteen stuff for a good price.

mb and players cb's havnt changed forever....you could pick almost anything in last 10 yrs or more

I I know, I just didn't know if there were any cult status ones or specific models that people thought to be a little special.

I had the FH1000 irons and hated them, I am never buying fouteen irons again. They were not appealing at address and not the feeling that I am looking for.. No worries As I resold them for same money and got my Miuras which was exactly what I was looking for. I do game the rm 12 wedges though.

With my new interest in club building and then some, I picked up some kyoei catalog players CBs heads that are unfinished.....I am not sure exactly what I bought(yeah, I know), but I am pretty sure I will be popping my cherry in sole grinding..... Anyway, $215 for 3-pw kyoei heads seemed like a fun project. I will post the results.
