Mizuno MP54 Long Term Reviews one year later?

I played 3 sets of 53s for year and half and 54s had 3 or 4 sets and gamed em for about same....great heads, the 54 seem like they spin a bit so if your low ball hitter it won't matter much but if your high ball hitter getting the right shaft will be important.....

You should be able to find a set in new/mint condition for $300-$350 on Ebay.

These are my current sticks, upgraded a few years ago from JPX 825 Pros. Started by replacing the 9 and PW, and gradually the 54s took over the my entire bag.

Agree with many other posts in this thread. No, they don't feel as soft as pure blades, but they do give me that "ahhh" moment when I flush one.

The MP4 (best feel of any club I've tried) and 64 both felt softer. Wasn't a fan of the 15, I also found it clicky and suspect the titanium insert had something to do with that. I liked the 59 better than the 15, but still prefer the feel of the 54.

My 32s definitely feel softer when I'm in the middle of the face. But I think the 54s are more versatile, and seem to perform better in the wet/soft turf we often get here in FL. I love trying new clubs but nothing (other than an occasional round with the 32s) seems to kick the 54 out of the bag.

54's are my least fav Mizuno by far. If you want more launch and spin you might like them though. MP4 is the fav I've played so that will give you an idea of my bias

I'm partial to the 53's, been playing them since they came out. Tried many other sets over the years but nothing has kicked those out of my bag.
