Colorado Springs, USAF Eisenhower Gold or Silver Course

Hey gang going back to Colorado Springs arriving July 3rd and departing July 10th for vacation. Went last year about the same time, but unfortunately things did not work out to get to play Eisenhower @ USAF.

So this year I thought I would start early to try to line up someone who might be kind enough to get tee times and allow me to play along with them. I will pay green fees, cart, and beverages. I am 56 year old male, electrical engineer, with a 6 handicap. If anyone can help out and want to open up a line of communications please send me a PM. I can play any day, morning or afternoon other than the 3rd or 10th. I will be playing every day somewhere, hopefully one of them at USAF..

I live in Sherman TX and have references from local golf pros where I play and even a couple of references in the COS area from the local RC Model Club called Pikes Peak, and local home owners whom I have rented vacation homes from. I will be staying in Old Colorado Springs area not far from Rudy's Country Store and BBQ.

[/quote]Last July I rented a house within eye sight of Broadmoor. But I could not play it because I was not a guest of the Resort. Otherwise I would have.

Bumping again guys, just 30 days out. before my arrival July 3rd and depart July 10th. I Am a 56 year old white man works as an engineer and loves to play golf. 10 handicap, fun to play with, and will pay for your green fees and beverages.

Gotta be a military personal or DOD employee around to get a civilian on for a round. I play fast and leave the course in better shape than I find it with extra balls to find. My last chance to play Eisenhower. Someone please give me that chance.

Hopefully someone will get back to you on this. I believe that the threatcon levels are up and only military and DoD are allowed through the gates, so you may need an escort to get to the course.

How was the golf? I lived on the Academy from 06 to 09 and played over 500 rounds. The Blue course has to be my all time favorite course due to being where I learned to play. Is it still in great shape as always? Where did you end up playing and what did you think?
