Ping G25 Hybrid

I have a 17 degree G25 tfc stiff shaft. I'm having an issue with it ballooning. I used it on a par three that is 185 yards all water carry and I have put many balls in the water last year. The shot feels good and solid but at the end it balloons and drops out of the sky, not penetrating. I'm thinking of either swapping shafts or maybe going to the anser hybrid.

 

Thoughts? Advise? M

I have the g25 hybrids. Had them with the stock shaft as well. Had similar issues. Re-shaft with UST recoil proto 95 f4 and I saw much better results in distance and spin.

Thanks for the response, I had a 22 degree G5 Hybrid that had a NV85 shaft in it...I just pulled it and inserted in the G25...its about an inch shorter than the stock G25 shaft....I will try it like this or maybe have to extend an inch....

I think it is the shaft. I found the stock shaft ballooned a little more than I would like. Swapped it and it is great.

I went with the Anser hybrids. Got my 23 and 27 degree great prices slightly used on ebay. Stock shaft on the Anser is very nice.
